Room was a good size, bathroom was very modern for an older property, hood location for our needs, free minibar (replenished daily) with water, soda and juice was a nice addition. Enjoyed the Irish Bar on the first floor - good food and music. Would stay here again.

Grace Hotel is in a great location, but when i checked into my room vomit (or something worse) was all down the side of the toilet and had to ask for the bathroom to be cleaned again. Room service took almost an hour and one morning there was no hot water, i called and guest services said oh yeah its broken.. we are looking at getting it fixed, no apology, no acknowledgment etc. Overall for the price point Sydney CBD has better hotels.

My specific request for a room was not ready when I arrived. However, another room, which is slightly smaller, was ready. I was surprised to walk in the room with my room temperature set for me. That’s remarkable. I was given a late checkout by the duty manager after I had to go down to reception and asked to speak to the duty manager following a male reception staff refused and was very rude how he communicated and handled our conversations in person at the reception and phone conversation as well. Many thanks to Salma and other staff, Jade, Tessy who had been very courteous in our interactions. I could have left a negative feedback just based on the male reception staff behaviour but chose to give this hotel another chance since I stayed here for many times and also a reward member.

Excellent location for CBD shopping and getting around. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. Chose an internal room & although there was no view it was quiet. Service was very helpful and friendly.

Really loved The Grace what a fabulous building. The room was a great size. Plenty of room to move around and you get free soft drinks in the mini bar that gets refilled daily. Staff were very friendly and helpful

All their staff were great. The hotel is within walking distance of Darling Harbor, Circular Quay, Queen Victoria Bldg, etc. The room was in perfect condition. They even offer complimentary mini bar, which they replenish daily. The only disappointment was that there was no diet soda available. Additionally, the electrical outlets are well thought off specially the charging outlets have on/off switches which are important for cell phone chargers to be off when not in use and no need to remove from outlet by turning the switch off when not in use.

The hotel has a great feel about, the reception is grand. Very comfortable and spacious room. Comfortable bed. Helpful staff, also the concierges are very friendly and polite. We like the free nonalcoholic drinks that are provided. Sugar free options would be welcome. Towels get replaced unnecessarily. Our favourite hotel in Sydney.

Beautiful restored hotel conveniently located in CBD area. Staff was very helpful, professional, and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. Variety of places to eat located within the property, we tried the Japanese restaurant for dinner and the cafe located right outside the lobby for breakfast. Both meals were delicious and affordably priced. Our room was spacious and clean, the mini fridge with complimentary offerings was a nice surprise. The pool area was much smaller than the picture portrayed but we were not there to swim, so that was not enough to take away from the overall experience of the stay. The hotel is beautiful and full of history, we were very satisfied with our stay.

The Grace is our go-to hotel when visiting Sydney. Love its retained historic feel. In the heart of CBD, close to shopping and trains. Room was lovely. Very quiet, facing centre of building.

We wanted to stay in the city for our anniversary and decided on The Grace hotel. It was central to everything. We had a lovely 3 hour Spa experience at the onsite Cantik Spa and upon our check in realised we were kindly upgraded and there was a lovely complementary bottle of sparkling wine for us to celebrate our anniversary. Not to mention the minibar was free (non alcoholic beverages). The room itself was clean and spacious and the amenities were great with a small lap pool, spacious sauna and spa which we made use of before our departure. I would definitely recommend staying at The Grace hotel for anyone who wants to explore Town Hall, QVB, Circular Quay, Darling Harbour and Hyde Park being a nice walking distance from all.

This lovely building shares a rich history with Sydney after being decommissioned as a leading department store. From our chauffeur driven pick to the hotel is when things started to go down hill. As we arrived at the hotel there were no door greeters to open the main doors of a so called five star hotel! Then their were delays his our room being ready to the point we almost had to cancel an opera house tour, I ended up in an argument with front of house staff over our room not being ready as we gave them more than an hour after our check in time to have the room ready. The staff member was a smart ass on the phone and didn’t appreciate his tone on asking the question of the room being ready, he said my room is not guaranteed to be ready by a certain time but it will be ready when we say it is available . Then after the room was available our bags were not delivered for some time to the point we gave up asking for then and had to go to our tours booked for the evening . Breakfast service was lovely I have to say with plenty of choice on offer. Amenities: the pool area was very wet and slippery with no grip on the floor or any wet floor signs to speak of and the steps leading out to the sun lounges needs fresh tape marking the steps. The room was made up to a high standard and can appreciate that but the lack of room services by your staff is another things as three times I called reception and the phone was not picked up once so gave up on that idea. Not coming back.

I highly recommend The Grace. A great location, close to the main shopping area, transport, Darling Harbour and not too far to walk to Circular Quay. The thing that blew us away was the complimentary mini bar. Will definitely stay here again.

The Grace Hotel is extremely good value, we stayed in the Twin Rooms, the beds are very big and the room as well. I highly recommend if your staying in Sydney.

Good location, nice staff. Bed was firmer than we prefer. Fitness area is quite poor for a hotel of this level. We enjoyed restaurants that were attached but not the hotels restaurant. We do not prefer expensive breakfast buffets.
