Friendly helpfull receptionist. Public areas nice. Room service hit snd miss one day put sign out, came back sign gone room not done. If not going to do coffee mugs and glasswate then privide dish liquid etc do you can do it yourself.
No secuirty on doors as anyone can access any floor.

This hotel was perfect - walkable to everywhere, stunning river views, great amenities, helpful staff. My shower would drip (almost turn on) at about 3am every night which was annoying as I would have to turn it off. However, that was probably just bad luck with my room. Everything else about the room/hotel/location was ideal.

Only downfall was not being aware we had to book parking and to arrive to no parking available... alternate parking straight across street, but still a little annoying.

Staff were very nice on check in. Rooms are clean but the building is old. The USB ports built in to the power points did not work. Hotel is ok for those who need a weekend/short getaway.
I don’t usually leave reviews but felt compelled. While the location is a quick walk to Cavill avenue shops and cafes, the hotel itself doesn’t seem to be able to keep up with cleaning in peak periods and is outdated. The rooms need a total bond type clean, walls and window sills dirty and so rusted and calcified, curtains dirty, shelves dusty and rubbish left from other guests on our arrival. The floors were stained and dirty carpets.
The noise - the jet boats dock outside the hotel and return every half an hour or so with loud engines so if you’re hoping for any type of sleep in forget it on that side of the hotel. The air conditioning unit was also so loud it’s like white noise all night. The staff were friendly and helpful but these aren’t issues that can be corrected with lovely service unfortunately. Our travel group all said the same thing about their rooms and other guests in the elevator we didn’t know told us they changed room twice because of smelly rooms. Not the holiday vibe we had hoped for.

We had a wonderful stay ,, bed was so comfortable and cosy ,, pool was nice and relaxing and the passion fruit mojito was awesome ,, staff went above and beyond
The room was booked and paid for 3 people. There were no glasses or cups for 3 even! House keeping was called with no response. Reception was called upon with a nasty response, to go and get the cutlery ourselves from the restaurant. I requested for house keeping to attend the matter, receptionist informed me that house keeping doesn’t have the time, she may request but they need not oblige!
The room was dirty too. The balcony had food crumbs and left over food remanants on the balcony floor from previous occupants.
Really shameful after the price I paid.
Furniture and bedding very very basic.
Really sad service.
