We found a bargain on a last minute stay and were pleasantly surprised. Our room was outstandingly clean…the cleaners attention to detail was spot on. We’ve stayed in a few places over the last week and this had to be the cleanest. Big comfy beds, spacious rooms, lovely big shower. Can’t fault it at all. Will definitely recommend and use again.

This hotel is a great find clean modern rooms ample free parking big enough for vans plus safe hotel comes with a good size breakfast starts a 07:00 and its all a good price stayed before and can not think of any down sides

Could easily be 5 stars Likes: Clean; well maintained; reception lady was super helpful; bath, hair dryer, iron and ironing board in the room. Just nicely far enough out of town whilst still only being a short drive / taxi ride. The breakfast is honestly outstanding and the best hotel breakfast we've experienced in a long, long time. Worth every penny. Staff are all attentive without being overbearing. Overall a very good overnight / short break choice. Dislikes: Heating not on in February (tried adjusting the thermostatic valves on the radiator and no effect) Ironically there's a fan in room to keep you cool...; 10am checkout is the earliest we've ever encountered, and means an early rise if you want to squeeze breakfast in before packing to leave (Sunday). Definitely recommend, but with caveats.

Location was great for Stratford-upon-Avon and surrounding areas, only a couple of miles into Stratford and 20 mins from Warwick. We drove into Stratford-upon-Avon and there were a couple of car parks on the way in so it was very convenient. The hotel is well maintained and comfy. Service has been great and we've always been able to find someone when we've needed to. We had a couple of meals at the hotel and would definitely recommend eating here. If we are in the area again we would stay here.

The hotel was ok for the price we paid but unfortunately the evening was spoilt by the noise in the corridor outside our room, woken up at 2.45am by 2 drunk teenage girls sitting on the floor right outside our room, laughing & chatting & dropping food all over the floor, so had no sleep. Also it states that the rooms are soundproofed sadly this is untrue as we could hear the room next door.

We stayed mid week , an overnight stay as we were visiting Stratford . The hotel was very convenient ( we have a car) lots of parking available. The staff were friendly. For me the only issue was the hotel was too quiet and lacked atmosphere but I understand this may be different if you were staying in the height of summer as there maybe more golfing guests around .

We throughly enjoyed our stay. Staff all very nice and welcoming. Room very clean and had everything we needed. Food very good value and Breakfast was a good selection of hot and cold. Log fires in lounge area a nice touch and everywere bright and cheerful. Will certainly stay again when next in Warwickshire. Thanks to all.

Do not book this hotel!!
We would not recommend this hotel. The shower was blocked and they could not fix it or offer us another room. It is the first time in all of our travels around the world that we had to leave a hotel not showered and ready for the day. How can they take the money for a full hotel stay and not provide what is promised. Hotels.com should not let this happen again. Also we had beeen traveling for a couple of weeks and needed to do laundry!! On you site you show that this hotel has laundry facilities, but they do not and never have done. This was the main reason we booked this hotel for the convenience and we ended up having to go to a local laundromat!! Not the way we had imagined our Stratford experience!!

Needs a complete overhaul of staff and building
Bad experience this hotel need to be brought out of the 1990’s. If you are in business forget it hardly a phone signal and Wi-Fi is terrible test it advertises it? The young receptionist very rude and unhelpful after asking is there a better room signal her reply was what do you expect we are in the middle of knowhere? The guy on the bar complete opposite nice and helpfu! Get used to eating in the dark no lighting in the restaurant it’s a health and safety issue I was chatting to the guy on the table next to me and we could not even see our faces.

Perfect place for a friends get together weekend. All the staff couldn't do enough for us, so attentive, rooms ready early and the breakfast, oh my they serve the best breakfast especially the hash browns! Absolutely amazing place and already been back twice!
