Medieval character cottage in the centre of Stamford. Stunning period features.

Lakefront Holiday home in Stamford with kitchen
The house is located in the oldest part of Stamford a stone's throw from the centre. The location is peaceful with a green and mature trees to look out on and the town Meadows a few minutes walk away.
The house is well equipped with all the modern essentials such as Wi-fi, 2 x TV's (including Netflix & Iplayer etc) & a Sonos speaker for you to stream your music through.
The master bedroom is on the top floor and can sleep up to 3 people. The double bed can be split into 2 singles so if you want a twin (or triple) room this is ideal. There is a TV in this room too so works well if you have children who can have their own space, leaving you the 1st floor with 2 bedrooms, a separate toilet and the main lounge/TV all on the same floor. The first floor has a large double bedroom with a King size bed and there is a smaller room which has a queen size bed.
The house has been furnished to offer a little luxury with stylish furniture, top quality bedding, luxury soft snuggly throws and some Neals' Yard toiletries at your disposal in the bathrooms.
The kitchen is in the basement. It has all you need with washing machine, tumble dryer, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, microwave etc. and is well stocked so that you can truly make this a home from home stay.
The house is a period cottage so some of the ceilings are low in places but not throughout. The stairs to the top floor would not be suitable for the infirm or elderly.
Guest accommodation at this holiday home offers coffee/tea makers and a hairdryer. Kitchens offer fridges, hobs, microwaves and kitchenware and utensils. Bathrooms include a shower.
The recreational activities listed below are available either on-site or nearby; fees may apply.

5/5 Excellent

Period Home with Character in Old Town
We had a wonderful time in this historic home in a great location. It was perfect for sightseeing in town, picnics in the Town Meadows and hiking along the river, and walking distance to shopping, theater, great local pubs and restaurants. Enjoyed our visit to Burghley House and Gardens as well. Our host was very thoughtful - providing a lovely set of welcome food and drinks, proactively going out of their way to get fans set up during a warm spell, and arranging off street parking. We loved our stay!
