A great stay. The host greeted us and showed us to the room. Perfect location to everything. No frills room but clean. Would stay again. Free coffee vending machine!

Vrbo hotel hybrid. Very nice room. Helpful, gracious staff. Great Location.
Nice hotel room located on quaint shopping street. Many restaurants and market nearby. 10 to 15 minute walk to get down to the water if you use the lift. Very scenic. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Great location, like perfect place to be if you want to be walking distance from everything. Our check in experience was odd, we had to ring the bell of another resident to open the door and the owner was cleaning the rooms. She was very nice but barely spoke English. Very clean place though and fresh and updated. We had small boat like windows to see outside which was weird but we didn’t mind because we didn’t spend much time in the room anyways. Our last night a band played in the restaurant directly underneath us till 1 am very very loudly. Would probably stay again but certainly not a place for families in my opinion.

excellent location
Very centrally located but just far enough away from the start of the main drag of shops towards town . A 10-15 min AMBLE ( you could rush it in 5 !) to Piazzo Tasso the main square. There is a cafe below that opens about 7am So great to get coffee and another place opposite for breakfasts . The main drag is closed off to cars so you don’t get the noise of traffic . You do get the noise of families staying up late in the square but that’s a normal thing for town life . If you’re looking for peace and quiet book further out of town ...wifi is a bit slow . We had 3 rooms and all were immaculate , windows to the floor , good air conditioning, hair dryer, big wall safe , cleaned daily. Lady who ran the place was lovely.. very friendly. On arrival you had to ring a number and someone came within 5 minutes with the keys ,we had a coffee in the cafe downstairs while we waited. It was all very easy . Would stay here again . There is not someone always on duty at reception/office as you would in a typical hotel and once you’ve checked in you’re left very much to your own devises which suited us great. This seems to be the norm as we had other friends staying further down the road in a similar setup where office hours were kept also. Highly recommend this place . Just a thought...I’d recommend emailing your approximate arrival time as there is not always someone sat in the office and it’s gives them notice . Great place .

Very central for most things
This is a quaint place, nicer than a large bustling hotel, its quiet and you rarely see or hear any other guests. Room was basic but clean and all you need because so much to do and many places to visit. Only down side to us was the noise of the children playing in the square outside until 11pm but that was only our first night as we were up really early and catching up on sleep, every other night we came home after this time. We asked for a kettle cups and extra pillows when we arrived and they were delivered straight away. In all for the cost and convenience i would definitely stay here again

The shower doors were broken and we were unable to raise or lower the temperature of the shower water. My wife was disappointed to not have a hot shower at the end of a long day of walking on the amalfi coast.

Would have been nice if we got to stay here
We booked this hotel 4 months before our trip to Italy. We arrived in Sorrento and walked from the train station to Blurooms (not ideal, I suggest getting a cab). We went inside to check in and the lady there didn't speak English very well so it was hard to understand her. After she was talking in broken English and saying "I'm so sorry" repeatedly, we realized we weren't going to be staying at Blurooms. It turns out they overbooked the rooms and, since we were the last to arrive that day, we had to move to a different hotel. She walked us 3 blocks down the street to another hotel and told us we had a room there. I think they had a deal with that hotel to let us stay there. Their "deal" was that we got their smallest room in the attic (the elevators didn't even go up to our floor). I was looking forward to staying at Blurooms due to its great location, but was very disappointed when we were forced to go to a different hotel and didn't get any sort of compensation back for the terrible misunderstanding. Not a very fun situation to deal with in a foreign country!

Good room in central location
We arrived at around 5pm. Having read reviews on the rooms we were aware that staff/owners are not on site most of the time. We called the tel no. on the door and someone came over within a couple of minutes & showed us to our room. Service was very good, we were given a map of the area & were asked if we had any questions etc. We had an attic room which was very comfortable, clean & spacious but the downside was no balcony. The air conditioning unit was leaking water on day 1 but we reported it, got a response within minutes & it was sorted out. There was a little bit of noise at night from a few local kids in the square but it was quiet by about midnight & didnt really bother us at all.

Not a real hotel
Hotel was good. No real front desk, lucked out that there was another couple looking for the owner and they called him on their phone (I didn't have international service). Rooms are very small, but they are clean. Good value for the price.

Good value for money
I spent 4 nights here on my own whilst exploring the area. The room was basic but clean, and in a relatively quiet location towards the edge of town, but still within easy walking distance of the centre. Reception was not always manned, but the guy at the desk was friendly and helpful (when he was there!). All in all, a very good place to stay, for the price.

Owner couldn't be more friendly. Get the hotel number before you arrive you may have to ring him to give you the keys. Our room was small but very clean and with a good shower, all we needed really.

Great price, great location, highly recommend
This was one of our first places we stayed, and looking back across our trip to Italy, definitely one of the better ones. Well priced and a great location. We met some other people who had decided to stay just out of town and how disappointed they were with that decision once they got there - this is the kind of location you want with Sorrento, definitely. Don't go outside this main area. Clean and lovely, and if you check out the next day but want to see the city into the afternoon, you can leave your bags at their pub just down the street where it will be monitored and safe while you look around.

Solid Hotel steps from everything
Nice place. About a 5 min walk to the main train station. Room 106 is the biggest with comfy beds and large sitting area. The maid was very thorough and picked up all our "piles". The room is a little loud on Friday and Saturday night with kids playing in the neighboring square.

Excellent location. Shops, restaurants and bars. Fabulous tentative cleaning lady. The attic room is character, super clean and spacious although she can only speak Italian. Landlord and staff are also very nice and helpful. There's a fridge in the room but would be nice to have a kettle, too. Note - There is no reception! Best get the hotel number and arrange the time in advance to pick up the keys or call them on arrival. The landlord also own a pub 'The Manikin' less than a minutes away.

Convenient, modern and central location
Overall it is a very good hotel. It's conveniently located in central Sorrento, has spacious and comfortable rooms, a modern bathroom and very quick wifi. Staff are relaxed yet very helpful and informative. Excellent chamber maid service. My only complaint would be the noise from the square outside the front of the hotel - nothing major, just kids playing. Would certainly recommend this hotel.

Great, central hotel for singles or couples
Nice welcoming staff. Room cleaned daily, fresh linen and towels. Small complex, but well maintained, two main locked doors before you get to the rooms. Ideal, central location in Sorrento centre. I stayed on my own and felt safe and was very happy with the room and would recommend to singles or couples as a great place to stay whilst in Sorrento.

This hotel is suited in a superb location, just a five minute walk into the centre of Sorrento. We stayed for two nights, using the B&B as a base. If you are looking for good value and a peaceful nights sleep we would highly recommend this hotel.

No one home
Good hotel but the door is unidentified. Went to the adjacent hospital but that was not Blu Rooms. Pounded on unmarked I thought was Blu Rooms door but no answer. Rang door bell for some minutes. Old man let me pointed in pointed in direction of Blu Rooms but no sign anywhere. I rang the door bells of each room in Blu Rooms but no one answered. Ten minutes later one woman answered. She was a guest and notified owner I was lost. He came shortely thereafter and let me in my reserved room. Quite a hike from the train station. Confirmation e-mail left no direction, only an address for a side street not identified on any maps. Very frustrating and painfull experiance to check in.

Excellent location, great service and friendly owner. A bit noisy during the night but keep the shutters closed. I surely would return. The fridge in the room enabled us to stock up on fruit and make our own meals. I suggest anyone making use of this venue to ensure to take your own travel kettle or something to boil water with as this was not provided in the room. It would have been wonderful to be able to make our own coffee and tea in our room.

Excellent Choice for Location
Blu Rooms has a fantastic location right in the centre of Sorrento allowing you to walk everywhere you need to go. We were luck enough to be allocated a room on the top floor which ws more spacious than those below but without the lovely french balcony overlooking the square. The hotel has not facilities as such but is the ideal base and the rooms are very modern clean and comfortable with towels being changed daily and the bedding being changed during our 4 night stay. You can walk to the train station and there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel so perfect for exploring the rest of the amalfi coast. A trip to Pompeii on the train is definately worth it and only cost a few euros to get there. Can't say enough about this little place, a realy gem!

Voor vertrek al contact gehad met de eigenaar. Ook verteld hoe laat ik ongeveer kom. Bij aankomst met de bus in Sorrento, eigenaar gebeld en hij zou wachten op mij. Fijne ontvangst, behulpzaam en tips gekregen. Hij blijkt ook nog een restaurant te hebben, ben daar dus een frequente gast geweest. Kamer werd dagelijks schoongemaakt, wat voor mij niet persé hoefde. En nieuwe lakens om de zo veel dagen. BnB ligt heel centraal in het historische centrum. Bus- en treinstation is even lopen door de lange winkelstraat.

Boa localização, atendimento, quarto confortável, só senti falta de uma chaleira para aquecer uma água para um chá, mas isto nem todos usam. Falta divulgar o celular para enviar mensagem quando estiver chegando na cidade, já que não tem uma pessoa sempre lá. Mas vieram rápido, 10 minutos. Tivemos um pouco de dificuldade pra regular a temperatura do chuveiro, mas a Larysa foi prestativa e nos ajudou a regular os registros.
