Great vacation in Singapore
Great location and excellent service. Morning buffet was awesome and service was impeccable. The hotel rooms (we had a deluxe king) are older but clean. We will definitely stay again!

Found two cockroaches in restaurant (not a big deal, they happen) but when I told the chef who was stood there he just shrugged. Also, no air con in lobby/lounge/corridors/bar etc Air con unit in restaurant was huge big noisy machine that blew in your face. Was travelling with party of about 30 colleagues. Everyone thought it was bad and overpriced. Room was nice enough

The location of the hotel is good, and it is very convenient for guests to go shopping or taste food no matter they take public transportation. The front desk service is very kind, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. But there are a few small deficiencies provided to the hotel, hoping to improve better services. The first is that the socket equipment is a bit old, and it is actually a bit inconvenient to not have a USB socket (many hotels already have USB socket facilities), but fortunately we remembered to bring a plug. The second is to pay attention to the filling of bath products in the bathroom. I am used to washing my hair every day. I checked in on January 21. After washing my hair at night, I found that the conditioner could not be squeezed out, and it was already empty.

We were lucky to have a room facing Ion with the beautiful Christmas Lightings. Service staff from reception to restaurant were attentive and friendly which made the stay very comfortable. A small room for improvement might be the breakfast selection could be a little tastier.

Don't wash money here.
Front desk service was excellent. Bed very hot Bedroom lighting have weird allocation, there is this spotlight on the headboard which is annoying. Tap is too low for washing baby item and even fill the electric kettle. Plug was faulty and the entrance to the room was too narrow. Room was directly fasting the lift which was very noisy. Overall I feel this hotel is not thoughtful at all, they knew we have a baby but still give us this noisy connecting room. Pushing pram and baby cot in was a challenge, horrible. Breakfast service staff was horrible, took 40min to get my milk for coffee after 4 reminder, many item we order didn't came at all.

Check-in experience was terrible. We arrived at 4pm (1 hour after check in timing) and was informed our room is taken up by guests having late check out. Nothing was done to make up for this until we made a fuss.

Definitely worth a revisit👍
Encountered a massive 4hrs delay with the check-in upon arrival as the counters were packed with others who are also checking in, on-top the room weren’t ready. Staff were apologetic, compensated for the inconvenience and ensured sufficient service was rendered. Good initiative, enjoyable stay with great amenities and facilities!

Being Close to the MRT is an advantage, We always stop at the Marriot Tang Plaza when in Singapore because it is convent Staff are wonderful and we never have any problems

Had sewerage issues for 3 of 6 nights, notified management on day 1 and had instant email reply that issue would be addressed. Nothing done, till request for change of room on day 4, and had a different room for subsequent 3 nights. It would have been nice if management were more hands on or try to make up for the first 3 nights. This is our second stay at Marriot Tang. Little disappointed.

We enjoyed the breakfast buffet, with very good quality and selections. I had lost my wallet in the taxi from the airport and would like to express my utmost appreciation for the Marriott Tang Plaza staff members for their effort to trace down my wallet, which I got back safely.

Lifts are very small. Check in hall is not grand like other 5 star hotels. Congested Front entrance is long and dark, overall appearance doesn’t match that of a five star hotel

We arrived on schedule and I attempted to check in. I was first served by Iz, I handed over our passports and explained I would appreciate if we could be checked in promptly. He asked where my kids were, when I pointed them out he told me the hotel policy did not allow two adults and 3 kids into a single room. I asked him to please check as I had booked two rooms. Shortly after he decided to go serve a different customer. No explanations, he just walked off. Next came Regina, all she was able to say was sorry I can’t do that nor that nor that. Just check back at 3pm and maybe we can get you a room by then. I was so shocked I decided to wait on the side and figure out which staff was more senior as reginas name tag also read trainee. (If a staff is unable to serve at the front desk please don’t let them stand there unattended) I managed to speak to another member of staff who told me we would get a connecting room by 6pm. Yes wait 6 hours with three young kids for your rooms. We left for lunch, i needed a break from dealing with the hotel staff. We returned at 3pm and I still didn’t have the energy to speak so a friend of mind went to speak to the staff instead. I waited on the side, where thankfully rohjana Iskandar saw me and asked me if she could help. We managed to get one room by this time. There was construction on orchard rd all night and I woke up wanting to just move. We paid over a thousand a night for both rooms so why burn the money? Tough it out mom, never return
