We had a great stay, was only 1 night but great room for the price. Was clean, nice bathroom, the pool is a great option, comfy mattress. We've stayed in much worse places for the same price, would come back!!

Convenient, great price and very clean. Very friendly staff. Only very minor complaint is the pillows are too thick and stiff and the walls are a bit thin - could hear another guests alarm clock and kiddy cartoons on the tv. Not terrible issues. Overall had a good stay and will be back when in the area visiting family.

Good position nice outlay of the premises. But no flyscreens on the doors which would make it nicer if have a breeze flow through on humid days instead of using the air conditioner. Entry into the premises is rather confusing.

On arrival was greeted by a very pleasant staff member at reception. Our room was clean and tidy, spacious and had a fully equipped tea and coffee area which was satisfactory for our requirements. Pool area was very clean as well as surrounding garden area. Shops and numerous food outlets were practically a few steps away from the accommodation. If we were required to contact the staff, they were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this establishment and would return again.

We had a very comfortable stay here for 2 nights. My main concern was how slippery the tiles are around the swimming pool area. My granddaughter kept slipping on them and it was worrying as she is a toddler so even when we were holding her hand or carrying her it was so slippery and I felt unsafe. Something to consider. The rooms were clean. A bit of mold in the shower but still clean enough.

Southgate Hotel is a very nice hotel and offers free washing machine and dryer service. Daily service of the room, BBQ and pool. The gardens are also very well kept. It is very clean and handy to walk to the shopping centre. We enjoyed our stay here very much.
