The staff in Avani Palm view made our stay memorable. They were so helpful and friendly. Our two bedroom apartment were spacious and comfortable.

Generally the staff were very helpful, especially the guys round the pool and pool bar area. I found the Managers less than helpful. Bar Manager in room opposite the reception was quite rude to my 17 year old daughter as we were having a drink before we went out to dinner - it was only a 7up. Also invited to cocktail reception one evening for an hour with the Management. I believe the Managers may have come in but walked round the far side of the bar so some could smoke. After 15 minutes we left as no-one had spoken with us so they may not have been Managers but there was only one other couple in the room. They left within two minutes of us leaving.
Generally though the workers on the ground were great and an asset to the hotel.
Building site next to the hotel - not their fault but noisy.
We were asked to move half way through the week as there had been some flooding to the room (it was 11:30pm and we had just returned from dinner) but the room was inferior to the room we left.
Also, be aware that two of the hotel's restaurants are no longer open.

Small/medium size hotel. Nice and friendly staff. Food is decent quality. Good medium size pool. Can get quite lively with poolside DJ. Direct access to the beach for one of the Palm canals. A few fish in the water but not enough for snorkling enthusiasts. You can walk to the Atlantis waterpark in 20 minutes if so inclined. Great place to relax and stay for 2-3 nights if you don't want to leave the hotel. If you are planning for several days of lazy 'all inclusive' style, don't go anywhere else, with a family then you might be a little bored after a few days. Not much going on in the evening.
