It has never been my policy to write a less than favourable review, but as they say there is always the exception to the rule. I called it not quite, our reservation was guaranteed and paid for, but two days prior to leaving home we were told that they had made a mistake and were overbooked and they would arrange for overnight accommodation and transport. Problems with the transport which eventually resolved itself but by this time it was well and truly past midnight our time.
Next day where we billeted overnight required us out of the Villa and in the end took us to our booked reservation where we then had to wait for our Villa to become available well after the 2.00 PM schedule.It was advertised with a kitchen, nice little gas burner but no utensils to speak of. In all our years of travelling this is the first establishment of any kind that did not have complimentary tea and or coffee, in fact there was no kettle to boil water, we find out after three days that what we thought was a casserole was in fact a coloured pot with a top. this we utilised. No hand towel, no tea towel so we had to use a cover off the microwave to hold the hot metal pot, not quite what we expected. There was a whole liturgy of issues but one of the other most telling was the same table cloth that was left for 12 days.
Paid for as a Superior Villa and advertised on their web site as Deluxe I wondered what it was measured against. Sour grapes possibly, but after 30 trips to Bali allowed one grump.
