Was ment to stay here for 9 nights, after 4 nights we had $2000 AUD stolen from the bottom of my suitcase from a cleaner, got a refund and went and stayed at a different place never got my $2000 back and will never ever stay here again. been to Bali 10 times and never had money stolen I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone in the future stay away at all cost went and did a police report but nothing happened from it

Dear Lucas,We are really sorry to hear with this inconvenience issue, it is beyond of our control while we do not alibi and proofing your money stolen or inside of suitcase. We have been checked on security scctv- system that no ones entered your room. According the right investigation your suitcase has been locked and kept the key by your side. This is also about our villas reputation and the police has investigated and did not find any clue since the suitcase was not broken, still proper locked. How's you have been judged the cleaner or some else is stolen and we have been reminding to keep valuable things keeps into safety box to hide unpredictable circumstance. It is the first time to stolen issue in our villas and if it is right, this is part of seriously concern and if it is not true how you are able to proofing your money loose and it will impact on our future business. The stolen procedures from Indonesia must report to the policy as next legal action or criminal. Appreciate for your kind consideration and understanding.Best regards, Heliconia villas Management

The villa was very clean and included all amenities needed, amenities not needed were also available. Comfortable bed and luxury bed linen. Kitchen, dining and swimming pool was amazing. Staff were very friendly and professional. I hope I can return June 24.

Great location just off eat street
Fantastic location right in the middle of eat street, easy access to everything in Seminyak. Clean, quiet and very relaxing villas, excellent staff make you feel very welcome

Nice and central, good sized pool, good communication when arriving and departing. The place itself was pretty average - dusty and a bit manky - but you get what you pay for. Would recommend for people travelling on a budget.

Great location
Very convenient location near Eat Street, where there are lots of food and massage choices, like AsparaGus where they do a AUD$9 buffet breakfast and Kimberley Spa. Hosts were accommodating with requests. Pool was great for the Bali humidity and used frequently day and night as the sitting area is outside and not enclosed with aircon. However the aircon in the bedroom worked really well for a comfortable sleep. Big fridge for your Bintangs and outdoor kitchen if you wanted to cook. Bedding was fine but could do with an upgrade of their bath towels. I would definitely stay there again.

Nice villa at the heart of Seminyak!
Really nice stay, the staffs are very friendly and the atmosphere is quiet and serene. The villa was nice and comfortable. The furniture is a bit worn-out and needs an upgrade.

Not too bad but could be better
Overall we had a pleasant stay at Heliconia Villa. The villa was clean and generally comfortable. Security was good. Staff were very friendly and happy. The pool was nice and clean. Maybe abit too much chlorine? Free breakfast was ok. Some cons was that our villa’s shower hot water was rather uncontrollable. You either use really hot water or cold water. You couldn’t really pick medium hot. nother small con might be the rodent problem. We would see one little rodent running around when we were in our bedroom. In the mornings at the outdoor living area we’d see rodent poop smeared on certain areas of the dining/living area on the tiled floor. Then again, not a big issue since nature is all around us.

A very quiet property with very friendly and helpful staff. The kitchen amenities could be improved upon and the bath towels need to be upgraded. The location is excellent.

was doubled booked for the first night but after reading the reviews on trip advisor seems like it happens a lot!! Not sure how this happens when booking was made months in advance. Great location, staff very friendly, accommodation is fine.

The property is in a great location. It’s getting a little dated but very comfortable. There was a booking mix up/ mess and I am not 100% sure who from them or Expedia but either way a better confirmation would help.

Staff are very friendly. Villa is huge and spacious. Located in the heart of Seminyak with very convenient stores and restaurants. I ts a short walk from the main street, away from the noise and activity. Very quiet at night.

Multiple stays in Bali but first time in a villa. We stayed in the "Deluxe Two-Bedroom Villa with Private Pool" and absolutely loved it, we will definitely be back. Fantastic setting in beautifully kept gardens, 24hrs security, the staff were friendly and helpful. Heliconia Villas are located on the main tourist run but we felt like we were in a secluded paradise, very quiet at night. However just a two-minute walk down the driveway to the main road and you are back to where it’s all happening. Short walking distance to many nearby restaurants, great shops, Seminyak Square, heaps of bars and the local Coco supermarket.

It has never been my policy to write a less than favourable review, but as they say there is always the exception to the rule. I called it not quite, our reservation was guaranteed and paid for, but two days prior to leaving home we were told that they had made a mistake and were overbooked and they would arrange for overnight accommodation and transport. Problems with the transport which eventually resolved itself but by this time it was well and truly past midnight our time. Next day where we billeted overnight required us out of the Villa and in the end took us to our booked reservation where we then had to wait for our Villa to become available well after the 2.00 PM schedule.It was advertised with a kitchen, nice little gas burner but no utensils to speak of. In all our years of travelling this is the first establishment of any kind that did not have complimentary tea and or coffee, in fact there was no kettle to boil water, we find out after three days that what we thought was a casserole was in fact a coloured pot with a top. this we utilised. No hand towel, no tea towel so we had to use a cover off the microwave to hold the hot metal pot, not quite what we expected. There was a whole liturgy of issues but one of the other most telling was the same table cloth that was left for 12 days. Paid for as a Superior Villa and advertised on their web site as Deluxe I wondered what it was measured against. Sour grapes possibly, but after 30 trips to Bali allowed one grump.

Great stay with next to no fuss. Nice and close to plenty of great restaurants that all served good food. Thank you to all of the staff at Heliconia. Breakfast options were limited but you can always head out to get something different each day.

stayed 8 days in a pool villa room was really happy with room it was cleaned daily and staff were lovely. The pool was fantastic to have also. Hotel is in main street in Seminyak but was very quite and easy to walk to everything. Just a couple of things l would have liked were a few more cooking pans and utensils in kitchen had l wanted to cook something and a tv in outdoor seating area instead of only in bedroom. Apart from that had a great time and would recommend the villas to my friends.

Quiet, relaxing and comfortable
Third time we have stayed. On arrival it was 'welcome home' from staff. Deluxe villas are brilliant for a peaceful and resting holiday. Literally on Eat Street and a short way to supermarket if required. Kitchen facilities are large fridge, microwave and cooker. In saying this the cleanliness of cooking utensils and cutlery are well below standard. It is a shame as the villas have so such potential. Pool area is great with reasonably sized steps into pool if you are like us - getting old. Airport transfers are on offer for patrons staying 10 nights or more, this also a bonus. Yes we would stay again,

Beautiful villa right in the middle of Seminyak
I stayed in a deluxe villa with individual pool for 4 nights and loved it. The pool was beautiful. It’s located right where the action is in Seminyak but also quiet enough for relaxing. They could do with a little upgrading to freshen up the place, but otherwise it was still good. 10/10 would go back again.

Great Villa
I would highly recommend Heliconiavilla. Villa 1 was lovely, very peaceful even though located on a busy road. Walking distance to restaurants and supermarket. Great spot. I will be back again.
