They over charged me and they didn’t even care . Run by very young staffs. Definitely not worth the price at all. Won’t recommend , I did stay to another hotel the next 4 days.

Amazing Service - Great Location - Good Food!
We are glad we stayed at AC Hotel by Marriott in Santa Marta. The property is clean - service is amazing (more on that) - and the food was excellent. I was reluctant of the food based on the reviews however, my experience was 5 stars. The breakfast buffet and we had room service one night - all excellent. I would like to give Jonathan (Manager on Duty on 1/10/24). We had an issue in our bathroom with what we thought was a leak (turns out it was our own fault). We explained the situation to Jonathan and he presented us many options to make our stay more enjoyable - we took him up on his offer for room service for the night. His approach, empathetic listening, and act of service really summarizes our whole experience during our four night stay. As a result, we also decided to have a pool day and rent a cabana for a special occasion - the service was excellent and the experience was exactly what we had hoped for it to be. The property itself is walking distance to one of many beaches in Santa Marta, it is also close to supermarkets, bar, restaurants, everything you may need during your time in Santa Marta. If you are looking for a modern, clean, centrally located hotel with excellent service, you should consider AC Hotel in Santa Marta.

Great place to stay
Location, look and service was great! The view was Majestic. The travel agency on the lobby was very helpful and got us just what we were looking for. Service at breakfast and dinner was terrific and food delicious. The only suggestion is keeping the pool open a bit longer as 7pm feels early to close

The hotel was clean and in a great neighbourhood. We were able to walk to the markets, bars, restaurants and the beach. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and maintained. I highly recommend staying at the AC!

I emailed the manager twice during my stay and never got a response to the various issues. Housekeeping was great and got rid of the ants (first two days of 18). Front desk was pretty friendly and one woman in particular was fantastic - I told the manager in emails and received nothing back, sometimes front desk just one person and too busy. Getting ice and water was an issue, key access only for one floor my floor no ice or water. I am sure the restaurant got tired of me going there on the 4th floor from the 18th and they had to go and find some. Location was great, laundry service great, food hit and miss (IE great dinner one night, cold breakfast the next) Friendly staff on desk and security great and friendly. Gym lacked space, lacked even one bench for workout...lacked water and towels (finally they brought in water when I complained).

So room included parking but they had issues so they just made parking my problem each day with an argument vs then just solving what is there issue not mine. Also zero clue about security as security was rude and demanding about what room number we were when I have a key to access the hotel. Telling strangers your room not is not security! Ended in an argument. Super bad place to stay!!

Great location with a short walk to the beach. All staff was very friendly and was helpful that most of them also spoke English. Modern facilities and great views of the mountains and ocean.

Horel was well maintained but even being on the 9th floor didn't shield us from blaring music by the waterfront all night long. We didn't sleep at all. Also the anthem playing at 4 am interrupted our sleep as well as did a training or marching session in mid morning hrs. Terrible. Room service also had to be frequently called for towel service.

Overall it was a nice stay at this hotel. Balconies with rooms are a nice touch. Pool area is very pleasant with nice views. Staff was friendly and helpful. Recommend getting the 34 square meter rooms for a couple. The 24 square meter rooms is too small for two... the advertised square footage includes the balcony .
