"Overall we enjoyed our first stay… we came back for a second stay.
First stay was 3 days on a king
2nd stay was 2 days on a double
Overall good stay… staff was good… not a fan of paying for parking especially if it’s not in a secure section…
They need to add parking to the cost of stay and not add on.
Keep it simple.
We came for travel… and wanted something local to my valley 818 and the LA attractions.

"The Garland is an adorable retro/funky hotel. We enjoyed our time there. The rooms are a good size, conveniently located for the area, shuttle to universal was so nice to have available on site and everything was clean. The cleaning staff came by everyday with fresh linens and took out the trash. "
"This was an excellent choice for our 24-hour trip to LA for the Jimmy Buffett Tribute Concert at The Hollywood Bowl. Having flown into the Burbank Airport many times, we knew the Marriott shuttle was a requirement. Bonvoy membership got us access to the club lounge which was great for a quick, early breakfast. No snack options were there in the afternoon but we made two stops at EDB Grill where Sal served us great margaritas and small plates. Kai made check in a breeze! Only complaints were the room had a flashing light on smoke detector or something that was annoying and there was only one USB port in an alarm clock on one nightstand. "
