Perfect in Every Way!
If you are looking for a quiet residential neighborhood where you can be together with family and friends, but also enjoy a quiet, peaceful environment, then I urge you to consider this property. The Guest House is attached to the owner's residence but is spacious, well designed, and decorated beautifully. We are a family of 7 who live 5,000 miles apart who met in Marin County for Christmas. The host had a Christmas Tree up and lights in the garden to greet us. A bottle of wine and a Christmas card were on the kitchen counter. It felt like a warm welcome. The kitchenette was stocked with coffee, tea and other basics. The kitchenette was spacious enough for us to prepare breakfast and snacks, and the microwave and toaster oven plus the Keurig coffee pot gave us all of the cooking equipment we needed. The lack of a stove/oven (which was clearly described and photographed in the listing) gave the cooks in our crew the perfect excuse to be off duty and enjoy their vacation. We generally ate breakfast at the Guest House, one large meal out and snacks in the evening. It worked out very well for us. The December weather prevented us from using the large grill and outside dining table, but it is surely a lovely place to dine in good weather. The four bedrooms gave us plenty of sleeping space and the laundry facilities inside the guest house made it easy for us to stay on top of the dirty laundry 7 people can generate. The easy access to Hwy. 101 and the home's Central Marin location made the Guest House the perfect launching pad for our San Francisco, Napa/Sonoma and Marin County sightseeing. The main bathroom has a full wheelchair accessible shower. This is a great property for those who have mobility challenges. We truly loved our 2022 Christmas Holiday and this property had much to do with that. Thank you to our Host Maritza who promptly responded to each and every message I sent her both before we arrived and during our stay. Lovely property, lovely Host.

Serene, private, beautiful property
We had the loveliest time at this property. Maritza was attentive and answered all our questions beforehand and during check in. The property is immaculately clean, looks and feels brand new, private, quiet and calm, and luxurious. This was a work trip and we worked inside of the property and everything was simply wonderful. Love to stay here again. Thank you Maritza for being a wonderful host and for the detailed care!

Lovely home
Great property but I didn’t realize that there was only one shower for 4 bedrooms. Since the weather was lovely we ate outdoors but there is not a dining table inside and no oven. We managed nicely on the bbq tho and had a terrific time. Great patio!

Clean, Quiet, & Comfortable Cottage
This is a lovely home - nicely appointed, cheery, and clean. There is ample space in the bedrooms. The patio sofas were perfect for sitting with cups of coffee - even saw a quail and hummingbird one morning. Had a big dinner at the long outdoor table. There's a great bistro within walking distance and a well-stocked market just down the street. Overall, a terrific experience!
