The food was not good. Most meals the same and they wiuld run out of stuff like FRUIT! And my girlfriend was sick in the room, I asked at the dining area in between meals for some watermelon for her and they said no. RIDICULOUS!

NO A/C but in the rooms...HOT as HELL all the time...food below average.....2 star resort ....old and outdated....everything inclusive is a joke....big bar with 1/2 the chairs....dinner does not start until 8;30pm???? and the lunch well never seen a yellow hamburger before

Great location. Food ok. However the other Decameron options weren't good. Great location, beautiful beach. Old hotel but comfy room. The worst was the customer service. Staff was in a bad mood and rude at times. Also, we had to wait until 6 pm to check into our room. Manager, please do not reply to our message. We recommend you fix these issues which are mentioned over and over again in reviews online.

It’s a resort but Better to go out for dinner only the MED was good food, room are dirty and old it will be a much nicer it’s they remolded, staff friendly , it’s beach front but have cross a BLV hotel it’s one of the best you find there so is a ok

Nothing bad here, overall good experience. For Inclusive it fits the bill but need in total could of been better. The Service from everyone in there was amazing. The resort itself the structure needs a major OVERHAUL. Needs to be more modernized in the rooms. I believe the outside grounds is clean and updated.....Would go back, but the expectation as it currently stand is low.

My wife and I spent a week at the resort as it was recommended by a friend. We found the resort clean and the rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. The breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets were ok not great. I tried using the app or phone number to reserve at the specialty restaurant to no avail. I later found out that you need to reserve with the hostess at the buffet restaurant. She would start booking at 8:00 AM. We ended up reserving at the specialty restaurant the last three nights and dinner was a bit better. The pool are was great and I paid for a massage on-site. The bartenders were all great and there was a good selection of brand liquor available. I did notice that when the bartender served coffee from the lobby bar that they would give customers a spoon to stir that was used by all. On three occasions I noticed customers put the spoon in their mouth and back into the cup. I mentioned it to the bartender who quickly replaced the spoon. They need to invest in throwaway stirrers as what I witnessed was a health hazard. There was a band playing in the lobby which was exceptional . Overall the resort was good.

This is supposedly the best hotel on the island but very disappointing. The staff is not very friendly or welcoming. We did not have hot water our entire stay although we complained about it every day. The “all-inclusive” drinks were poorly made and served in paper cups that fall apart. We needed a taxi to the airport on the day we were leaving and were pretty much told we were screwed and would probably have to walk. We stood outside the hotel in hopes we could find one and flag one down and we got lucky. We probably could have walked since the airport was super close but we had 2 huge suitcases. Note: the staff did say they were able to get us a taxi in the morning but he never showed up and the security tried to charge us to pay him (the taxi guy that never showed up). Everything else on the island was great but I would not stay here again if I ever went back. Waaayyyy over-priced. It would have also been nice to know the weekend was “ley seca” meaning no alcohol served during certain times on the weekend…yup, thanks for the heads-up Expedia :(

Dining was very limited, almost all the food servers were very rude. The all inclusive very poor choices ( Bar, restaurants ). Very hard to get reservations on the restaurants other than buffet wich is almost the same every day.

This place was horrible stay away the first day no hot water no wifi there were hairs on the sheet I was on the floor the skidding doors lock was broken they had a stick in the track never had wifi you’d cellphones signal doesn’t work in the room

Hotel is nice and located in front of the beach. The big issue is that its very overpriced and not worth the money. Staff service is poor, food is bad (except for sasson med) and drinks are just ok. There are lots of room for improvement, principally the fact that there is no beach beds or chairs and you have to pay daily around 10 Usd. I would not recommend or come back

I read other reviews and I will say that I agree with a few things. The check in process is long and the lady that checked us in was not very friendly. Also the room was a little dated and in need of a remodel. Also you are supposed to use a website to schedule gym time etc and this website did not allow us to log in until like the fourth day. But I also realize that due to covid this area has been suffering from lack of tourism. I will honestly say that the staff here from the bar to the dining room to the pool area is a 5 star group of people. They go out of their way to do all they can for you. I read reviews that complained about the food and i have to disagree. We could not make reservations at the other dining facilities because of the website issue. But we ate every meal at the buffet style cafeteria and they also offer snacks in the afternoon. We never had a bad meal here and the variety was awesome. The staff was top notch!. I would definitely recommend this place and will look forward to staying here again!

For an all inclusive hotel this hotel has lots of limitations. Fixed meal times if you miss a meal time there is absolutely no availability to get food in this hotel. Not even a snack. The biggest point of contention was the restaurant staff: dress code rules were made up on the fly it seems. One day at lunch time our shorts we were wearing were deemed to short. Another time at evening all of a sudden our shirts were not acceptable which were not a problem for two nights prior. Others with similar shirts were not questioned. If the hotel has rules there were never communicated to us in the beginning so it became a gamble if we would be harassed at the restaurant or not. We felt treated like kids in a boarding school rather than paying adults. First if they are rules communicate them to your guests. They didn’t have problems to communicate the mask rules to us over and over although we never broke them. Again treated like children. Probably would not choose this hotel again.

The property was amazing, it was much nicer than the hotel I stayed in the last time I was in San Andres. The all inclusive feature included breakfast, lunch, dinner, and alcohol. There was a buffet restaurant and a reservation required restaurant (you have to make the reservation at 6:00 am). Both restaurants provided delicious food (especially the plantains). The only thing we did not like is at check-in. We arrived at the hotel about 12:00pm and check-in was at 3:00pm. We were told that if we pay a fee we could check in early. We paid the fee. We were then given our bracelets to enter the hotel and start our meals, however, we still were not allowed to enter our room until 3:00pm.

The resort is beautiful, great location as it’s a few minutes from the airport and quiet. The beach is amazing and it’s a few steps from the resort. We were misinformed about not being allowed to eat at the cafeteria on our first night but that was not true. We could not make reservations for the other restaurants on the first night was more like it. We were misinformed about the time to call in the morning to make reservations for the other restaurants which I believe it’s 6AM. I did not like the WiFi reception at all, I had to input the password just about every time I attempted to use my phone.

The beach Spratt was right outside the hotel, it's the best beach on San Andres. The tide has risen and most of the beaches around the island have almost disappeared. The most frustrating thing about this hotel was the tremendously long wait to check-in. Checkin is suppose to be from 3-5pm but due to their anticuated manual process, you will be lucky to get in at 5pm. When I arrived at 2pm there must have been about 50 people waiting to check-in and just as frustrated as I was. We were given a room at 6pm because I complained I was travelling with a senior citizen. Staff tried to be helpful but they need to get computers and automate the whole process. 2. The idea behind being able to eat at the different Decameron hotels is great but having to get on a line with 50 other people at 730am is not what you want to be doing on vacation, there has to be another way to this more efficiently, who wants to get up at 730am on vacation to make a reservation.

The property is located near the beach and has great swimming facilities. the Gym is small and needs to be expanded. the Spa is outdoors and it would be nice if indoors. they would get more customers. the food was great, total Colombian. the maids were outstanding, and the staff was very friendly. We shall return. it is the best resort I have visited in Colombia to date.

I liked that we were able to go to other Decameron properties and use their facilities, bars and restaurants. I didn’t like that there wasn’t hot water in showers. They did not have many beer choices
