The staff is helpful and friendly. The location is great. I wouldn’t stay there again only because they perfume the sheets which makes sleeping very unpleasant and really should not happen at a Hilton. I did not have this problem at the two other Hilton Hotels I stayed at while in Italy.

Theft
It's really small overall. The shower was tiny. My college ring, worth $800 when purchased in 1983, was stolen from my room. My guess would be housekeeping, but i am not sure. I'm very upset about that. The front desk wascreally notbhelpful with the issue. Nothing in English on the TV. All Italian language shows.

Thanks for your review.First of all I would like to respond to the theft accusation: the rooms are all equipped with safes and should be used for valuables that the customer wants to leave in the room. We don't want to doubt your version but you are accusing the staff of a theft without having any evidence and without having used the minimum necessary precautions. "Boutique hotel with cozy petite rooms in the heart of the city center." This is the first sentence that appears on our site to present the hotel and by delving deeper into the information search you can also find the exact size of the rooms. Furthermore, from channel 200 onwards you can find information channels in many languages and from many countries. Kind regards

Great location - get a higher room
Great locatoion near Piazza Vebezia, near many of the same aites. Had a small gym which is unusual in the area. Bed was great. View at breakfast was amazing. Expensive for a room on the first floor with a view of the street!

Great place to stay for a few nights … staff very friendly and helpful. Location is incredible … included breakfast is great walking distance to everything you want to see Side note if you have have a disability such as walking or in a wheelchair this isn’t the hotel for you.. does have stairs to the elevator and rooms and small elevator.

Not a great Hilton property.
Hotel is in a great location. Centrally located ,close to Trevi Fountain and main shopping street. Great front desk! But room cleaning was sub par. No wash cloths,no soap etc. Air conditioning was awful . The excuse of extreme heat is not justified. Lobby was very cool but somehow they couldn't manage individual rooms. Not a great value! Nit a freat Hilton property!!!

Avoid this hotel urgently. It's a scam. for a "suite" of €800 per night, it does not even reach 3 stars. The bed smelled bad, the bathroom looked like it was in a hospital. Very very bad hotel. We had booked 4 nights and decided to leave the hotel after the first night and they just refunded 2 out of 3 nights remaining.

Location was great for walking to nearby attractions and dinner. Rooms and bathroom were beyond tiny and the bathroom smelled like sewage. The room was clean. The rooftop was poorly advertised it is only open for breakfast.

You have booked a King Room which is widely described as a room with a double bed and can only accommodate 2 people. Upon arrival you arrived with the whole full family (2 adults and 2 children). We were forced to give you a second room by applying a 20% discount on the online rate. This does not represent an "extra charge" but simply our job which is to sell rooms. I understand that US standards are different from European standards and also the Tapestry brand is different from the more luxurious Hilton brands. We try to be transparent by publishing all relevant information (including room sizes and maximum occupancy). For this reason we do not feel responsible and we are sorry to have received a bad review for no fault of ours. Kind regards

Fantastic location, but expensive for what it is
The location of the hotel is perfect, very central and yet quiet. Hotel staff is friendly, room is comfortable and clean. My room didn't have a wardrobe, so space for clothes is quite limited. Bathroom/shower are great, a bit to the small side but good temperature control and pressure. Would stay again, but could be a bit cheaper.

Tiny rooms. Windows on the floor. Looked out into trash area. Plastic stool was the only thing not attached to the wall. Stark, minimum. No amenities. No dining. No place to sit in the room and 4 chairs in the "lobby". Can't believe that Hilton would put their name on such a property.

Run. Do not stay at this hotel in Rome. The room had windows with bars that looked over the trash, pipes and junk area. The room was extremely small. Room for only the bed. The only thing not attached to the wall was a plastic stool. Bathroom, bad lighting, no place to put anything and our toilet did not work the last night. They just said, I am sorry when we went down to ask for help. No place to sit in the room or lobby. No dining area. Absolutely no view, no windows you would open. Not familiar with how we paid and what we owed at check out. Cannot believe that Hilton would have anything do do with a property like this.

Good location and staff friendly but very expensive for what it was and not up to Hilton’s normal standards at all. Room was very small and not very clean at all. When asked for things like cups and some milk for the room didn’t even provide that even though their was a kettle. Overall really disappointed

This is why you have found differences with other Hilton brands such as small rooms whose sizes are extensively documented on our Hilton website. I didn’t stay as the room was awful. I left immediately. The room was all scuffed up, torn up walls. I had a room with a king bed and another bed. The other bed was right by the door depressing. I will say the the staff was very nice, came up to the room and agreed with me. Fatima was wonderful, and beautiful.

The hotel is very old and under construction. There were lots of loud noise on a Saturday morning at 7:04 waking us up. AC was broken in one of the rooms we had and the temperature outside was at 100 degree F. Staff were very nice and friendly.

The hotel was undergoing MAJOR renovations. No breakfast room. No roof deck. Not a single chair in the whole place - rooms or lobby. Who knows when it will be done.

The staff was very helpful and spoke perfect English. They were well versed with transportation like trains and buses and helped me plan activities. The cafe next door was a great plus and the girls running it were very nice. Great location. I walked to the coliseum, forum, and train station.

Great location!!!!! Walking distance to Coliseum, Trevi Fountain, and other. Roman Forum. Great, great, GREAT LOCATION!!!! Although it says free breakfast, you will be charged sepearately. Otherwise it was a nice hotel.

Great location for walking to all the sites! Very clean, staff were also very helpful and always on hand should you need anything. Breakfast on the roof top was lovely and just enough to set us up for a day of exploring Rome! Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing and well kept for the buildings age. Clean rooms, comfy and cozy. We had three rooms in our group and all had beautiful views of Rome. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The location of the hotel was the best. There was no check out surprises. Only negative is if you leave your window open at night the streets outside are very loud. Close the window at night and you are golden. We will definitely use this hotel again when in Roma extremely happy.

Location was great. We put our do not disturb sign out two mornings in a row and they still entered our room, the second time they entered, we returned late that night to find the door open. The last morning we were there the toilet seat broke. Staff was friendly.

Soooooo dirty in the rooms. Very visible dust bunnies, and I felt like I was going to get bed bugs. I'm itching right now just thinking about it. It definitely is a 3 star hotel, not a 4 star. Bathrooms in dilapidated stage -- I stayed in a room with red curtains. I would suggest you stay in an upgraded room, or just stay in a different hotel. Both mattresses were also flimsy and you could feel the springs. The sheets were very clean and comfortable though.
