It was good but the air cinditioning was poor sonitbwas stuffy. It was not well stocked with soap shampoo or toilet paper. The wifi was spotty and the table lifhts sparked and gabe us a shock when we plugged them in so we disnt use them. Inwould not stay here again.

hello David, thank you for the feedback, well abut the AC I can say that the machine does not work if outside there are 10 degrees and you want to set the ac in cold mode to make it even colder. it only works if outside the temperature is higher. I am sorry to hear that the stay did not match your expectation. Hope to see you soon one day

Front desk staff was very friendly and kind. She allowed us to check in early since the room was already available. She was very helpful and gave us a good recommendation for a pasta place…and we loved it! The room Is comfortable and even with a Netflix. Great location and is close to everything. We will recommend this place to our friends and family when they come and visit Roma.

The property is right on Via Del Corso and the historic district is walkable from the property. Many dining and shopping options near by. The rooms are on the smaller side compared to a standard hotel rooms in USA but because we barely spent any time in the room, it was not a big deal. Bathrooms are very spacious with a hot tub that could accommodate 4 people.

Great location but needs some fixes
Were arriving after reception hours, so it was very confusing how we'd get to our room. Until you get there and see the property, the instructions don't make sense and we were concerned that something wouldn't work. This is like an apartment building-the outside door to the street that requires a code (or scan from your phone) then an inside door to your room. In order to get code or even to check in, we had to fill in a large form ahead of time with lots of info, like uploading all of our passport info, which I was not comfortable with, but I did it. We were told the key cards to our room would be left STUCK IN the door (for anyone to take). Seems crazy to me. I was assured the building was very safe but I was not comfortable with that. Nothing stopping another guest from entering the room before we got there and possibly damaging something and we'd be liable for it. Room was ok-good size for 4 people. No instructions how to work the air conditioning and it wasn't until the next day that they could help us. (It's remote controlled and I found it very confusing even after she showed us.) Biggest disappointment was the smell. As soon as we walked into the room there was a garbage/bathroom smell. Sink and toilet seem to work ok but something definitely isn't right. Also the shower head is not at end of the stall, it's in the middle, so you're up against the glass. Lighting needs added, dark in bath. Staff service/response was very good, they were helpful. Location great!

Hello Gia, thank you for your feedback. Just to clarify:yes this is not an hotel but a guest house and for law we can not stay opened 24/7. As you arrived after reception opening hours the check in could not be made on site but is MANDATORY for Italian law to have all the info of every guest entering the building. Vikey is our internal system that we developped as a startup so nothing to worry about. About the keys, yes we put it on the door to facilitate the entrance, what is wrong with this? no one ever complaint about this, our guests are always happy with this as it make their entrance ever easier. The Ac? yes it has remote and just push the ON/OFF button, nothing difficult. Happy that you enjoyed our service and the location!

Very conveniently located near Spanish Steps, right along the Via del Corso. Lots of restaurant options around the corner on Via Della Croce. Around 10 minute walk to Trevi Fountain and a bit more to the Pantheon. Taxi stand nearby if needed. About 35 minutes on foot to Vatican and 30 to the Colosseum. Reception is on the second floor and there are stairs but they are manageable. There is some outdoor patio space with tables as well. Not fancy, but clean, functional, and low-key. A perfect spot if you want to shop or explore the city.

Construction alarm
Grand Master Suites was a great location. The staff was very accommodating. The only negative was that there was some construction going on across the street and a very loud alarm went off starting around 6:30AM and continued to go off every 15 minutes.

We received the warmest welcome from they young lady who checked us in. Our room was small but i found it ver clean and charming. The location is awesome. Tons of food, shopping and a walkable distance from so many historic sites.

The room was okay. The only problem was as soon as you walked in the door there was a step down that was not marked nor did the person showing us to the room advise of this. Both my wife and I fell. I bruise my back and arm. My wife bruised her knee. I would not stay or recommend this property.

Hello Leonard. I had the pleasure to meet you and your wife. I AM VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED from this review. I think this review is really unfair as:I personally told you to be careful of the step and showed you also all about the room. After you fall we kindly offered you a 100feet apartment so a very big and spacious upgrade and you were very happy with this! the next day you told me that for you it was ok to remain in the original room. I am very sorry but it is not acceptable as a public review.hope you enjoyed the free wine that we offered

We were placed in a suite that was not advertised on Expedia's website. We asked for a refund as we left 2 days before check out. The place was filthy and smelt like mold. The management team would not reply to calls or messages. We had no fresh towels. There were stains on the bedsheets, lights did not work. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Hello RishbeeI see that you booked the apartment with the terrace and I confirm that is advertised on the website, maybe you should have seen the pictures when you booked. Manager was not on site so maybe you talked to someone else. we always provide fresh towels and fresh bed sheets. It seems that you looked very very happy when you checked in so I really don't know what happened. I know for sure that you did not leave the apartment but you decided to remain so is for this that no refund was done. This review has no sensewith love from Rome

This property was very runner down. The wifi did not work at all. The air conditioning did not work and was repaired in day 2. The elevator did not go to our floor. Had to walk up with suitcases. It was a very disappointing stay. The staff did their best

Hello Giacomo, thank you for you feedback. unfortunately about the wifi was not our problem but a general network malfunction and I confirm everything has been fixed. we repaired the Ac as soon as you mentioned it and, trust me, in august is very hard to find a technician to do it. as it is a very classical building with a giant terrace, the elevator does not arrive until the 4th floor but only until the 3rd. not such a big deal. hope you enjoyed our FREE BREAKFAST AND THE TRANSPORTATION ORGANIZED TO THE AIRPORT.I hope to see you soon!

I’ve never stayed in a place where staff were not available 24/7. It was very stressful knowing after 6:00 pm there’s no staff on site in case we needed help or support. We did receive daily housekeeping but it was only to change the garbage and do our beds. Our towels were placed on the bed, our bathroom wasn’t cleaned up and we had to wash our coffee cups every day in order to use them. This place was more like air-b-b than a hotel that we paid the price for. Not happy with Expedia for charging us VIP hotel price for a cheap not even a motel. I would not recommend this place at all.

Hello Vida, thank you for your message, yes you are right we are not a hotel but a guest house and because of this we do not have (for law) 24/7 reception, you should read what you are booking but we are ALWAYS reachable by phone + in the VIP treatment there is one free bottle of wine (that we provided). yes we have daily cleaning, daily cleaning is making up the bed and the towels change, my colleague put fresh ones everyday and they place it on the bed (is there anything bad in this?)

Location location location! Being the first timer in Rome we did not know what to expect. Choosing this property was the best plan to start our 2 week quest across Italy. Easy and conveniently located at the steps of Spanish steps with easy access to lots of local dining options and convenient transportation to all across the city. A family friendly Vibrant neighborhood ! I would like to give a a big shout out to our host Alessandra as well, who made it super convenient for us first timers, Thank you and your team. Arranged an easy and convenient pick up from airport to the suites and then a drop off at the train stations, while taking care of every tiny need during our stay. We are definitely coming back and I highly recommend this place to everyone specially with families. The only minor issue was with the Wifi as it was not so good and often we couldn’t connect at all.

We booked four rooms at this hotel, which has an excellent location within walking distance to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and 25 mins stroll to the Vatican. Our suite was large, a little dark (needs more light), but has a cute step out Juliet balcony. The staff was the gem of this boutique hotel; they were quick to respond and very helpful during our stay at the Grand Master Suites. Highly recommended!
