This is an older property, but we were quite impressed with the efforts to make the place nice and comfortable, like the nice bath basket and BBQ area. Most impressive was the check-in call I received while traveling. When we arrived at a very late hour, it made my day to have the keys already in a lock box. I just grabbed them and went to my room. Awesome!! Also, the price was unbeatable!

The gentleman working at the facility was extremely nice and helpful. However, the room was filthy. There was mold in the bathroom, animal hair on the beds, holes burned into the bed coverings, the bathtub has dirt in it. You could tell they tried to cover up smells with some type of spray but that was irritating to the eyes and it didn’t cover up all the other smells. The parking lot also was a disaster with a huge hole and and large sections of mud. Just an overall bad experience.

Very clean and economical. Only cons were the door not shutting properly which made it tough to lock, and the lobby not opening until 7 AM for coffee. Should be open by 6:30 AM latest.

Needs Improvements, sleeping in my car is better
Against my better judgement, I am going to recommend that this hotel raise their prices and make some improvements. I have stayed here while traveling the last 4 years and the condition keeps getting worse each time. Last time the heater wasnt working, this trip the doors had to be slammed shut to close. Asked for non smoking one bed but was placed in smoking two queen room with ashtray. While I love this hotel is under $60 while all others in the area are $100 because I just need a warm bed, but this hotel would greatly benefit from charging like $75 but making some improvements for their guests. Just little things to improve the rooms, like paint, removing the popcorn ceilings, updating some bedding and furniture. All the paint and caulking is yellow or non existent. These are quick improvements that $10 more per night would quickly pay for.

I'm sorry things didn't go so well.To address some of your concerns:Just before Thanksgiving our brand new boiler system for heat was installed and it works beautifully!During our winterization, new door seals were installed and they do require more effort to close until they get broke in.As winter is a slower time for us, we are making some improvements to the rooms.As far as being given the wrong room; every front desk clerk is supposed to verify the room type and I deeply apologize that you were put in a smoking room! I will be talking with all my staff about clarifying room types.I hope on your next trip, you give us another try to show you a better stay.

Took 3 rooms to find one with working door and television. Rooms overstuffed with old, dirty furniture. Lamp bulbs are broken, few outlets. Great internet and hot water.

Nice rooms, per friendly. The pet rooms are separate and smoking rooms are separate from not smoking, which is nice. Staff is friendly. The walls are a bit thin, I could hear my neighbors TV one night and could hear the pipes. Close to a lot of food, Walmart, many businesses on the same street.

The room door opens to the outside, and there was a 1” gap, letting in cold air and heaven knows what else. Very dated decor. Needs work.
