We were happy to see our unit had a washer and dryer. The air conditioning was only in the living room which made for an uncomfortable sleep.

Nice accommodation handy to shops etc. Unit was tidy and well equipped. The pool was a let down. Even though it had a quick clean in the morning, it remained dirty with a slimy oil coating floating on top. Running the pool filter during the day would definitely help keep the pool clean. Also no grab rails anywhere to aid getting in and out.

Great value, great location.
Stayed 2 nights after completing the Cooloola Great Walk. Manager checked us in early and was extremely helpful in every way. Excellent facility and close enough to everything Rainbow Beach has to offer. Well equipped, comfortable and quiet.

The only thing I didn't like was our neighbours arguing until all hours. Not much could be done. When you pay over 250 dollars for the night you expect a little civility from your neighbours.

This was good value overnight accommodation for us. Our room had a small outdoor area that overlooked the pool. Shower & bed were good. The room had a bar fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster which was a requirement for us. The only drawback was that the only place to wash the dishes was in the bathroom sink. Location is great, with a flat easy walk to multiple shops, restaurants and the beach. And there is a small set of shops with a grocery store right around the corner. Gated parking area next door where you can leave your car (for a fee) if taking a overnight tour to Fraser Island. And tour pick up point is just a few steps away. Very convenient.

Easy to find on main road into Rainbow Beach. Staff person was pleasant and helpful on check-in and information provided to help manage our stay. Room was clean with basic facilites. Would have liked an exhaust fan in the bathroom. There is a requirement to wash our dishes ourselves but the only facility to do this is in the bathroom!

Nice stay but not friendly
We had a unit with kitchen - all was very comfortable and roomy. We decided to put all the dishes through the dish washer before using them as the cupboards were a little grubby as were window sills, etc. Nice clean pool and barbecue area which could cater to a larger family group. We didn't find the staff very friendly - we asked to use the barbecue around 5pm and apparently you must ask before 5pm otherwise be subjected to a tirade about how the lady had started at 7am and all she wants to do is go home and have a life. Perhaps they should make sure in their information book that they make it clear that after the office is closed at 5pm wo betide you if you want to ask for anything? Didn't we pay quite a bit for a room in a hotel which calls itself a resort? Get more office staff.

I am sorry that we were unable to move you to a ground floor room for your overnight stay, but as I mentioned, we were fully booked, so there were no ground floor or lower floor rooms available. Next time, if you send the request through with your booking, ahead of time, we will do whatever we can to satisfy your request.

Like the fact that it is walking distance to the club and water, extra excited that it is also close when travelling to fraser. Our stay with Rainbow Sands has always been pleasant, enjoyable and relaxing

Staff were very kind in the booking of this accommodation. However upon arrival we noticed that there was dried blood that had seeped through all the bedsheets, as well as hair and dirt - the bed had clearly been slept in and remade. Additionally, the toilet had not been cleaned (despite having cleanliness seal) and had several urine stains under the seat.
