Having to sign receipts every time we ordered was a pain in the butt. If you don’t have an all inclusive package it is a pain to go out and eat. Anything for going out to restaurants is a $30-$60 cab ride one way to have restaurant options. There is only two options for a la carte restaurants if your a family. Buffet was ok but wasn’t the greatest. Pool options were small if the resort is busy. Had some Mexican soccer team convention there for two days while we were there and restaurant snack bar and night entertainment was reserved for only them which wasn’t idea either poor managing by the hotel. Over all was ok but don’t think I’d go back. Would rather be closer to more amenities. If your a stay at the hotel for your entire vacation might be the place for you. I give it a 3 star at best.

Great location, beautiful beach and amazing staff! Pedro made our trip extra special with his professional service and hospitality at the family pool. 10/10 would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a safe family friendly all inclusive resort experience.

The weekly stayed staff was very friendly and rooms were always clean. Everything was excellent, but the buffet always seem to have kind of the same stuff was not impressed with buffet

The property is run down and the furniture old. Building 3 for sure. Their checking in and out system is all manual and takes a long time. It is not a quiet resort at all. The beach was nice and the kids loved the pool which was extremely crowded. I would never ever go back to the resort.

Outside facilities, beach, pool, we’re great. Complaints were hard beds, all inclusive didn’t include gym access or ice cream, signing for everything, and over an hour wait to check in.

The themed nights were so much fun! The mechanical bull on wester night was a good touch. All inclusive facilities close at 10:30 however they do have a sky bar that you can go to. The Starbucks is so close that we would walk there every morning including a little shopping mall for anything that you forgot. If you’re looking to do excursions there are many options through the resort itself or if you walk down the beach you can find some locals who offer things! The food by the pool was also phenomenal and I’m still dreaming of the cheese pizza that they serve. We would be lying if we said we didn’t get it every night. There are lots of chairs, one thing that they don’t really show is that they do have two pools. One is adults only for those looking to have a relaxing time. They also do not have a swim up bar but they have a lot of servers that will still serve you while you’re floating in the pool The house keepers were phenomenal keeping the sand out of our rooms daily and making sure everything was stocked up.

Although the property itself was beautiful, the check-in desk was insanely slow and full of unnecessary paperwork. In fact, even to get a drink from the bar or to go to a restaurant always required signing a piece of paper or having to get another wristband. It made the experience feel slower and as if you are being policed to get the amenities you had already paid for. The resort has potential but honestly fell flat.

The staff were very kind and patient with this non-Spanish speaker. There was usually someone close by who could translate or speak English. The cleaning staff did their job wonderfully, the food had lots of selection, there was a grocery store very near by. There were theme nights with music and dancing. It was a wonderful experience

Unfortunately, this resort has very unfriendly staff and horrible service. My family of five along with my sister’s family stayed here over spring break. The property is very pretty. However, the resort is run inefficiently with almost as many workers as guests yet it takes forever to get anything. You must sign for everything and cannot even order a drink while sitting at the bar because a table waiter has to wait on you. The staff was the biggest disappointment. No one smiles and they seem very annoyed when you order anything yet it’s an all inclusive resort. For dinner one night in the we waited two hours and never received an entree. Yet there were waiters and staff everywhere and not many people in the restaurant. It was bizarre. The check in and out process takes hours and is ridiculous. Did I mention the staff was rude? Our elevator broke in our building (we were in the fifth floor) our last day and we were hurrying to get to the airport. I had my credit card on file and had already been charged $500 and had a print out of expenses but didn’t have my “check out” ticket. They made our family with my elderly 82 year old mother walk all the way back to the main building (with luggage) and wait forever in line to get a “check out” ticket which was never collected at the “check out” gate. We almost missed our flight. I LOVE Puerto Vallarta and have been there many times but would never stay at this property again. I don’t write bad reviews but had to this time.

We had an issue with our reservation, but it was not the resort's fault. What we booked was an all inclusive package, and what the third party booking agent changed it to, was a European package. So we ended up having to pay for everything during our stay, and it was SO expensive! Drinks, food...everything was way overpriced. We stopped at the buffet the day we arrived, and they wanted to charge us almost $700 pesos per person. For a buffet. Yeah, no thanks. The pool area was nice, our kids loved it. We did not like that you had to be 16 to go in the hot tub (which is attached to the kids pool), makes no sense. They have a great beach, but the first 4 rows of beach loungers/huts is all reserved for their timeshare owners. Everything caters to the timeshare at this resort. I hated that they have a caged tiger on display. Nobody could really tell me why they have her there. We only ate at one of the a la carte restaurants which was the Italian place by the marina. It was very good, but again, very VERY expensive. The shops are convenient and a very short walk (some reviews have mentioned them being far away but that is not true at all), but OH MY GOODNESS is that grocery store ever out to lunch for prices! A small bag of cool ranch Doritos was 213 pesos (which works out to about $13 USD). The Mexican restaurant in the mall (AMA) was absolutely delicious. We stayed in a standard 1 bedroom suite and thought the room was comfortable and clean. Cleaning staff came every day.

We enjoyed our recent stay. They had plenty of things for kids to sign out to play with like boogie boards, footballs/volleyballs. Too bad things like ice cream weren’t included in the all inclusive plan. Definitely should be considering at any other all-inclusive it would be. Put a damper on holiday when you always have to sign for things when bought all-inclusive. I feel like the property could adjust that to make the all inclusive experience better for guest.

Beautiful part of Nuevo Vallarta, next to the marina. Property is well kept, although it is getting older than some other places (30 years old for the original buildings), they do a great job with upkeep. It's not the Ritz, but it's not priced that way either. If you order from Expedia, be sure of what you are paying for. I was certain I selected all-inclusive, but Expedia did not follow through from their end. No fault to Paradise Village.

This resort is a bit dated but not bad. Our room Didn’t have any access to outside (no balcony) so was an odd feeling being in there at night. It’s jammed in spring time so get ready to fight for lounge chairs, and swim in a packed, loud pool. The beach is nice but again, never any chairs as this resort has the typical “put towels on chairs and leave” mentality. Decent food but super salty, room was average clean, beds were hard and the bedding is scratchy. You also have to sign chits for everything even if you’re all inclusive which isn’t bad but you can’t leave without doing it. We won’t be coming back.

What a beautiful complex, however, the accomadation that we were in had no windows, and we were kept awake by the pipes running through the wall next to the bed. Flushing etc from all the floors above. One should not have to wear earplugs and a pillow over one’s head. Fortunately, after three days we complained and moved to a nicer room. As far as Paradise Village…..the property, beach, gardens, staff were lovely.

This is a time share property. We booked for 1 night. We wanted to visit family that were staying there. From the very beginning it was extremely bad. We were told a bus boy would show us to our room. The bus boy pointed in a direction. That was the help we received. It is a very large complex. We walked a long way, dragging our bags. We had no idea where we were going. We eventually asked someone else. We got the same response. A pointed finger. We eventually found our room on our own. I have traveled all over Mexico and been to many true all inclusive resorts. This is not normal. When we checked in we tried to trade up to all inclusive. That was not possible but we were assured we would get special pricing at restaurants and buffet during our stay. That did not happen. The buffet was closed down for dinner for a so called Mexican night. The cost was twice the price of the regular price. We went to the other restaurants. Food prices were ridiculous. The food we did get was mall food. Terrible quality. Fast food. We couldn’t eat it. Breakfast was similar. Poor quality food. The only good thing was the young servers who attended us. They were pleasant and did there best. Check out was equally bad. The resort is tacky and the rooms are old and need updating. What a waste of our time and money

Staff was friendly. Some really good servers along the pool. Room was clean. Food was average to good. Inability to order easy from the bar. The lines checking in and 30 minute wait to check out. Long lines waiting to be seated for breakfast are unnecessary. Construction project was going on for part of stay. Constant bother to buy merchandise on the beach. Dirty dishes and garage laying around hotel hallways daily. No life guard period on site.

Just spent a week here “all inclusive” but depending on the wrist band colour, it stops at 11:00am the day you leave, even if you have to wait the day there before you fly out. The breakfast was good and so was the food you order around the pool but when you pay for a week all inclusive you only get 2 restaurants, which are sub par, otherwise you have to eat buffet. However, the western night buffet was so good and the pool servers were amazing! You have to sign a cheque for zero dollars every time, which you get used to but it is a very weird concept and not the traditional all inclusive. For that reason we would probably explore other resorts that don’t limit you when you pay good money.

We booked with Expedia, chose the Studio suite, which included a balcony, when we arrived requesting a balcony, we were put in an older building the balcony was big enough for one chair - all other units had large balcony. The other room they offered us only had 1 double bed. We also advised them our stove only had 1 burner and no one ever came to fix it. Resort itself was beautiful, food OK and expensive if you are not on their all inclusive plan

We really do enjoy this resort and are returning guests. It is clean, fun, slightly crowded but very family friendly. There is something for everyone here and the food is great (however we didn't see the value in Myapan Mexican). A few things to be aware of is the check in can take a while. Their all inclusive is expensive but so are their reg food prices. This time we had some confusion where they did not register us as all-inclusive even though we expressed we wanted to be, while we waited for our room which was not ready we made purchases in the lounge assuming we had our all inclusive and knowing they offer a free welcome drink. The server handed us a bill at the end and when we then cleared up the confusion and properly paid for our all inclusive package they refused to refund the bill we just paid and that was extremely disappointing considering our room wasn't ready and we are paying all inclusive anyhow. Also be aware that every tab you close gets a receipt you need to sign with "option" to tip. Sometimes (esp around the pool) the service you receive will depend on your tips, even after the buffet we have been questioned on our tip amount when we really received no service other then coffees. Also the all inclusive drinks come in smaller serving sizes then reg customer purchases so we order 2 at a time;) All in all staff ( guests) are friendly, It is a beautiful/ well maintained resort, great accessibility to nearby shopping.

Mediocre for an all inclusive. Because it’s a mixed resort with all-inclusive and seasonal timeshare holders, the offers for all-inclusive is limited. You need to pay extra for certain items on the menus that should really be all inclusive. There’s also a tip expectation on the inflated resort prices…. Feel like puerto vallerta would be better experienced with an Airbnb and freedome to do what you want.

Great place to stay, clean, good food, great beach. Check in and check out takes a little longer than desired. Having to sign a receipt each and every time you eat is a little bothersome. Starbucks and grocery store 2 minute walk. I would upgrade the room to make sure you get a balcony.

Liked the ocean, beaches and pools, restaurants nearby. Disliked - room was a motel type, no window (Tonina bldg), facing parking/loading dock. The hotel seems all-inclusive in Expedia, but it was NOT. They offered to buy AI on site for major dollares. Many members-only areas, time-share agents, etc.
