The entire condo property is smoke free. Smoking is only permitted off of the condo property and then only as long as it is not within twenty (20) feet of a living unit. These are both condo association rules and Hawaii state statutes.
What is OUR weather like in the fall and winter? Daytime highs in the 70's, and nighttime lows in the 60's. Just plain nice. The only shovel you will need is to make sand castles. We still have some September - March openings and would love to see you.
It doesn't matter how you spend your days in paradise. Whether it is hiking the many trails, playing a round of golf at one of the many great courses on the island, or perhaps just a day at the beach with a good book. When you get back that evening, why not just relax. Put your feet up.
Hale Loli'i means house of relaxation. We chose this name for a reason, and we set it up to allow you to do just that. Perhaps the most important thing you will do at night is pay attention to tomorrow's weather.
Bring the family, or share with another couple. We want you to feel at home and be able to relax and enjoy this magnificent island and all it has to offer. Contact us to see how we can meet your needs.
If location is important, look no further. When you turn into Princeville, Paniolo is the first condo. Easy walking to shopping, parks, library, and a quick car ride to golf, tennis, fine restaurants, and beaches galore. The hard part will be leaving.
Perfect for a family of four, with brand new queen size bed, and two twin beds in the loft. Or, if two couples want to share, we can push the twin beds together with a king size mattress pad to accommodate.
The spectacular beauty of Kauai's North Shore surrounds you at Hale Loli'i. Whether you walk or drive, you are just minutes from fabulous beaches, great golf, hiking, horse back riding, or whatever else your imagination can come up with. And at the end of the day, come back to a home away from home.
This second floor walk-up unit has a sleeping area separated by a room divider, a dining area, a living room area, full kitchen, and a loft.
The loft, which contains two twin beds, is accessible by a loft stairway. As is, it works well for two children. We recommend children seven or older. The loft does not have a bathroom, and is not suitable for younger children particularly in the dark. Or, with the twin beds put together with a king size topper, it accommodates a second couple.
You don't have to set an alarm here, as there are plenty of birds and perhaps even chickens to get you up and going. Make breakfast in the fully stocked kitchen or if you want, walk over to the Princeville Center and find coffee and pastries at several local eateries, or stock up at the full service grocery store. Then decide what is in store for the day. Hopefully you won't try and do too much though. Remember, this is vacation.
Perhaps it is a sight-seeing day. Turn left out the driveway, and you are a couple of minutes from the main highway. Take a right and go up to the end of the road. Or a left will take you back east and then south to see the rest of the island. These can be difficult decisions, but whichever way you go, you will not be disappointed. The beauty is island-wide.
If you go right, it is ten miles until the end of the road. And a total of ten single lane bridges to navigate. A word on them later. If you go all the way to the end, you will arrive at Ke'e Beach. For me at least, this is perhaps one of the most peaceful and mesmerizing places on earth. If you walk back up the beach about five hundred yards, you will have a view of the Na Pali Cliffs over the water, with mist rising from the ocean caught by the rising sun. Be careful. You may never want to leave.
And between Hale Loli'i and Ke'e Beach, you will pass through Hanalei, and go by some of the great beaches of the world. You may want to save Hanalei until later in your trip as the shops there will give you plenty of souvenir options.
Or, if you got a sunburn yesterday from a little too long at the beach, maybe you head east and south. You can stop in Kilauea and see the lighthouse, Na Aina Kai botanical Gardens, or the Guava Kai Plantation.
A half hour drive down Kuhio Highway brings you to Old Kapa'a Town. More beaches, restaurants, and shops. Check out our guide book for suggestions.
Further down the road brings Waipouli, Wailua, Lihue, and on to the south shore and Poipu Beach, west to Waimea Canyon and if you are adventurous up to Polihale State Park.
At the end of the day, you can either eat in - perhaps take something down to the poolside grill - prepare whatever hits your fancy in the fully stocked kitchen - eat in the dining area that accommodates four comfortably. Or, if you are too tired to cook yourself, perhaps you will want to go out and enjoy any of the great restaurants nearby.
Later you can put your feet up in a comfortable recliner or stretch out on an equally comfy couch, and enjoy a wide assortment of channels - including ESPN, The Golf Channel, and TNT on the HD television, pick something from Netflix, or if you have a subscription, whatever you can find on the smart TV. Or rent a movie and put it in the blu-ray player. High speed internet is available to check your emails, surf the web, or stream your favorite music. There are board games & cards as well - for the occasional "liquid sunshine" times. Just remember, keep the work to a minimum. That will be waiting for you when you get back.
The sleeping area, which is separated by a room divider, has a new queen size mattress. Closet and drawer space permit you to unpack. But hope you didn't bring a lot of clothing with you. Shorts and a top will get you into anywhere on the island. And a washer and dryer in the unit will let you get any of that famous Kaua'i red dirt out.
The kitchen has a full size stove and refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave oven. There is also a coffee maker, teapot, toaster, electric griddle and blender as well as plenty of dishes and eating utensils. Last but not least, a separate counter-top ice maker is provided for those frosty tropical libations. And we have stocked in many of the typical spices you will need to prepare your favorite vacation meals.
When you are ready, enjoy the queen size bed in the separate sleeping area. Just don't set that alarm. You are on island time.
