The Hotel Certvoka is next to the Charles bridge and the area is full of exquisite buildings, monuments and parks along the river; the place is nice and clean, and the breakfast that was included was delicious with a great variety of meals to start your busy day in Prague. I recommend this hotel.

I love that Hotel Certovka is a small property, has a super terrific staff, delicious breakfast, situated right next to Charles Bridge. I stayed in Room 21, from which I sat at the window and watched the crowds of locals and visitors stroll by while listening to the humming of the boat motors as they cruise up and down the canal below.

Bad and Unprofessional customer service ever
I booked this hotel for my wife to celebrate her birthday during 4 days in her favourite city (Prague). So, next is what she experiences with hotel Certovka staying: Unfortunately it was the worst customer service I’ve ever received! The old lady (I guess her name is Evelyn) at the reception desk was so rude and unresponsive for any reason! The sink in my room was plugged up and I complained about it to receptionist on my very first day of staying. The next day it wasn’t fixed and I went to reception and asked nicely about it again, but instead of apology she says (with attitude) that she was in my room and checked it out personally and found nothing wrong with it!?! I have a proof of that sink working improperly and I never asked her for anything else (like my money back or change the room) then I don’t see any reason to be so rude to me, especially on my birthday. Same rude respond I got from her for all my questions regarding the night check out (when nobody/receptionist is there, which is so inconvenient for every customer I spoke to over there) and breakfast to go - she’s basically said that it’s my problems!?!… The only one good thing about this place is its location, but everything else is just not really good. The hotel room was outdated, the shower was so small and not really clean (with no shampoo provided), the room a/c has only cold air mode, the power outlets was so far from the bed and there were just 2 of them. So based on that I wish we should have refund.
Sink was not properly drained by and was not fixed during the whole stay even after 3rd client’s reminder

The location of this hotel is very convenient. I also thought the rooms were nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall, recommend a stay here!

Since we got to the hotel, the personal was very nice, knew our names, gave us a room in 1st floor, nice view of the canal and the Carlos bridge. Breakfast very good, service overall excelente.

The property is walking distance to everything and is in a very hip and vibrant area. The rooms vary in size so make sure you pick a large one if you need space. The staff was helpful and the breakfast omelettes were tasty.

Great location - convenient to most everything
Only real negative comment is in regards to the wi-fi. It was terrible. No coverage in the room. You had to go down to the lobby in order to get any Internet. Would stay here again based on everything else.

I liked that the hotel was small, quiet, but close access to the sights I wanted to see. All could be done on foot. The staff was most pleasant and able to speak in my language extremely well.

We loved the room size, the location, and the friendly staff. The included breakfast was very nice and a great start to the day. The hotel is picturesque and charming right near the Charles Bridge. Room rates were very reasonable too. We took advantage of their "arranging a pickup at the airport". For 30 Euro, there was a taxi driver waiting for us at the Prague airport to take us to the Certovka, a blessing at the end of a long flight.

Certovka a pleasant unbelievably perfect place!
It was everything it claims to be. Room was clean and fabulous. Location perfect. Andrew at front desk awesome. Breakfast more than I expected. Not plannning on going back to Prague anytime soon (though it was fabulous), but wish there was a Certovka in every European city...we would stay there! BTW, I am skeptical traveler who rarely writes reviews, but this place blew away all of our other European hotels. If you are visiting Prague, stay here.

We stayed in Room 1 (of 16). It is in the basement and has little internet unless you sit next to the door or outside in the hall. It also has the world’s smallest shower. This was disappointing but otherwise the hotel is in a great location in the Little Quarter. The breakfast (included) is ok with a hot option - eg Ham and Eggs.

Everything was excellent. The hotel was great. Breakfast was very good , and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to the Charles Bridge, and you can visit places just walking. I really recommend this hotel.

Amazing location right beside Charles Bridge, super helpful and friendly staff provided excellent service. Top marks for the location, service and cleanliness. Had a bright “double room” facing the castle, such a lovely view. Did miss having in-room amenities for tea / coffee. My colleague was not as pleased as he had a very small attic room and said the wifi up there was slow. I had no issues with wifi and thought the hotel was great value!

I could not fault this hotel. The room was very clean and spacious and had lovely views out to the river. The staff at the hotel were very friendly. The property is in a fantastic location at the end of Charles Bridge and only a 10 minute walk into the centre of Prague and the old town square. I would recommend arranging an airport transfer with the hotel before your stay as they do an excellent rate. If I go to Prague I will most definitely stay here again

The location. Right next to the Charles Bridge with a stair way up to the bridge. Central to the lesser town and across the bridge to the old town and 2 blocks to public trolley.

Perfect location for a Prague vacation
Great location! Love it that breakfast is included. Nice spacious room - #3 downstairs with a view of the canal. The only drawback was that we ordered a ride from train station to the hotel, and they didn't come Called hotel and they supposedly sent another driver. We waited an hour, and no one showed up holding a sign with our name. A bit frustrating but must have been a misunderstanding. Our transfer from the hotel to the airport was right on time and worked out great.

Stayed three nights. Great, great, great location. Right at Charles Bridge. 5 minutes walk from old town. Restaurants everywhere. Clean hotel. The only negative was WiFi was spotty at night, but two Starbucks nearby to check/send email.

I enjoyed being close to the bridge without having to deal with all the crowds of people on the bridge. I was in Prague during the weekend so it was really busy. The staff gave me excellent recommendations for places to eat and the hotel breakfasts were very good. I was so comfortable in your hotel and will certainly recommend it to others.
