Great hotel, lovely staff. Only reason for marking down is due to my key card nocking me out of my room twice to which I had to go down to reception to sort. Staff were happy to help though.

Excellent overnight trip
A very nice hotel in my favourite district in Prague. It is away from the crowded touristy zones, but still it is very easy to reach the center with the trams which stop right beside the hotel. The main train station is just 2-3 stops away with trams. My room was clean and looked elegant with a huge and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was amazing, lot of options to choose from, including hot (baked beans, sausages, scrambled eggs) and cold items, and everything was available and replenished quickly. There were even cakes and waffles available for breakfast! My room was absolutely quiet, no noise came from anywhere. As it seems to be an old building, the electrical sockets are at inconvenient places, and I had to unplug the lamp to be able to use the kettle for making coffee (coffee and tea are provided in the room which is very nice) The pillows were very uncomfortable for me, but as the bed was very comfy, it did no bother me much. Overall, Hotel Carlton is an excellent choice, and I would be happy to stay here next time I visit Prague.

It is a nice property to stay. We stayed here for 3 nights. Hotel is conveniently located with Lipanska tram station just 3 mins walking. As Prague transportation is really good, we had no issues commuting to and from from the hotel. Rooms were nice, clean and cosy. All facilities were available. There is lift in the hotel. The hotel switches off the AC during winters so to make the room ventilated, we suggest to open windows for some time so that everybody can sleep comfortably. Towels provided were clean and washroom was also clean. Breakfast options were limited. With just a few meat and cheese options, no particular changes were there for 3 days we had breakfast there. I would suggest the hotel to add options to their breakfast spread. We had literally just eggs and bread on the 4rd day as there was no variety. Overall a good place to stay. Would love to stay here again if needed.

I was a nice hotel, there is a supermarket in front, the tram to the center is 2 blocks away and very easy, the hotel is pink outside ( which I really liked ) the breakfast was good with many options. The only thing is that they kept slamming the doors and woke me up several days. I guess it was the other guest.

The best
The hotel looked amazing,staff were very friendly ,hotel and rooms were very clean and good size. Everything was amazing and will come definitely again. The only was disappointing was the breakfast cakes. I am Czech so I know how they should look like or taste but the cakes were often not baked properly and or no sweet . Bábovka two days in row was not baked properly was heavy and oily and Pernik wasn't sweet enough and cheesecakes were horrible. I was very disappointed! Breakfast could have been in overall much much better. But the rest was amazing 5 stars.

This hotel was lovely, around a 30 minute walk to the centre, tram stop is 5 minute walk. Staff were lovely and very helpful when we was trying to book our cab back to the hotel. Would recommend :)

The property was very well maintained and clean. Staff was quite pleasant as well (though sometimes the Kitchen staff didn't know enough English). We sometimes had difficulty in understanding what might be ingredients of the breakfast being served and that's why we needed to ask questions from the kitchen staff. Overall it worked out nicely. I wish to make special mention of Iryna in the kitchen staff who made an all out effort to explain despite the fact she couldn't speak fluent English, but her smiling face and consistent effort to answer our queries was very pleasing experience for us :)

I did nit like the idea of having a two single bed in the room. I would have preferred the one double bed in it. But apart from that all good. Accessible to public transport.

Nice hotel. Excellent staff. Excellent breakfast. Very conveniently located. However the bed was not comfortable and the shower is hand held and there’s no shower curtain. Water goes everywhere. Also the walls are paper thin ...One night I was awakened by the neighbor snoring!

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel but it was a bit far from activities and sites. The tram is across the street, so that made it easier. Also, no restaurants on site, except for breakfast, and not much around

The 5th floor room we were in had a lot of road noise. The breakfast was quite limited in the hot stuff but overall good stay ( when we went to reception about noise they offered to move us ) also no heating till October

Charming hotel
Old style charming hotel, just 4 tram stops from city centre. My room was very tiny, fortunately i am a smallish person. The ensuite was minutely small, and toilet extremely cramped. Had a problem with TV which management fixed quickly. Breakfast was ok, not too many choices but adequate. Convenient grocery store, Albert, just a few steps away. I was happy with the location despite some weird people who inhabit this area. It was a good experience in a slightly out of city location.

Away from city center 4 the station with the tram.Very spacious room, older hotel but well maintained, the air conditioning in my room did not work so be mindful coming in the during the summer time ( they set the air to 3 degrees cooler than what the set it for). great staff very helpful . THE BEST thing was the breakfast !!!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Carlton. We were happy that we could check in early. Our room was very spacious and clean. The shower is handheld and mounted too low so more difficult to shower. The breakfast buffet is included with your stay. It is very good breakfast with lots of options to choose. It is a short walk to the tram station and grocery store called Albert. The area is a bit gritty, but we always felt very safe. I would recommend this Hotel Carlton. It is good value for your money.
