Great value for money and excellent staff. Ali was friendly but efficient when checking us in and kudos to the staff working the breakfast as it was literally a stampede of people, rushing to get their food, pitting croissants in the toaster in spite of the obvious sign saying NOT to…and Russell (staff member) was cool, calm and collected, really friendly and chipper. Everyone worked really hard and the minute something ran out, it was immediately replenished. Great work guys. The rooms are a great size and for the price, it’s really good value for money. Only issue is parking and having to pay £6 per day. If they included this cost in the room, no one would bat an eyelid and it would still be competitively priced.

My room including my bathroom was not cleaned for the first x3 days of my stay. I had to waste my holiday time complaining about it before it was cleaned. I really hope this does not happen again.

Surly staff. Free parking that costs £6 per day. Free on Expedia website; £5 on holiday inn site and £6 at the hotel. Bar staff rude and disrespectful

Easy to find just off of the A27. Staff friendly and helpful. Not much choice on the hot breakfast. Was nearly constantly having to wait for sausages and bacon.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was soacious and clean. Breakfast was great, very tasty and a nice range of choice. Great stay, would come again

Could be improved, but decent for a nights stay
Overall good experience but the fittings in the bathroom could use some fixing. The shower head leaked and was not strong enough. Otherwise, we had a great time and it’s what you’d expect from a Holiday Inn Express.

The bed is too hard. A thicker mattress topper would provide better sleep. Also house keeping is not good enough. Bedding is not clean. Towels do not smell fresh.

Ok stay .
You know what you get with holiday inn , room clean and tidy , only difference this time was we left breakfast until a bit later ( 9am ) big mistake as it seemed everyone had done the same , staff could not keep up with clearing , getting food out , cutlery , plates etc . Also 1 coffee machine broken and other was on its last legs . But considering what we had paid , and in the scheme of things not worth getting too upset about .

First time in a holiday inn
Nice sized family room, usually they are a bit more cramped. Comfy beds, no noise apart from traffic on A27, nice breakfast including cooked option, although the layout means it gets a bit chaotic at full capacity, so grt in early.Big bathroom with a slightly lack lustre shower. The only thing that I thought a bit off was having to pay £6 to park there, but overall it was still good value for money.

Unusally average for Holiday Inn
Arrived after 3pm room not ready had booked an accesible room offered a better room but not accessible facilites took it rather than wait for ages,only problem at back end of hotel. Reception staff very laid back and unconcerned other staff were very good and focused.

My only criticism is the usual room doors slamming shut which is a nuisance and also the parking machine didn't offer a receipt and managing to contact the parking company for one as advised is proving very problematic, other wise I very much enjoyed my stay.

Nice room, good size but little storage space. Breakfast was functional, and plentiful. This is ideal for a one night stay but more than that might be too much. Despite this I would stay again if necessary
