I don't know if this is issue with the hotel or booking through expedia, I booked and paid for a king bed and ended up having a queen. When mentioned to hotel, they said we can't do anything and no refund because it is booked through expedia and that means whatever room is available to me I should get. Important detail to know. I stay in a hotel or b&b almost every month for years and this never happened to me.

We were put in a room where construction crews were right outside our window, loudly grinding and sawing siding. So loud i couldn't speak on the phone or open draps for privacy. Why pay extra for a river view and not be able to open the drapes? We did change rooms

Room was pretty nice we had a cottage/condo. The area was riverfront so that was beautiful. If was easy access to lots of tourists attractions. Valet service was expensive and they were a little shady as they tell you the parking lot just down the way has break ins and then proceed to stay there is one further down around to corner etc but it seemed to us from watching during our stay they use the first lot for the valet cars so a little suspect to us. Also unfortunately when we stayed the restaurant was understaffed so long waits and ok food. Overall a good stay but a few downsides too.

Regarding your dining experience, it's regretful to learn it didn't meet your expectations due to the wait time. Fantastic location. Safe and Serene
Fantastic location right on the waterfront and beautiful park. Always appreciate Kimpton properties for their dog friendly policies. Nice service all around. The rooms are large, but are not decorated in typical Kimpton fashion. A little more whimsy would go a long way in blending with the brand.

Lack of service - check in is 4:00 pm but I came early; they were going to text me but I had to follow up after 4:00. restaurant service was slow. Check in provided no information on the property. Location is great on riverfront. I hate to give a bad review, but for a Kimpton this was disappointing.

LOVED BEING DOWN BY THE HARBOR AND HAVING THE NICE WALKING PATH RIGHT THERE, THE RESTAURANT ON SITE WAS SUPERB. The street noise late night was significant until around midnight or shortly after, perhaps request a room that does not face the street but rather is facing the harbor.

The property is on the Columbia River with a lovely parklike greenbelt adjacent and a nice restaurant on the property. The room was a little small, but a good layout. This was my second stay at a Kimpton Hotel and will always be my choice whenever available.

The hotel was fairly clean and in good condition. The room was nice and big and the river view was nice! The area back behind the night stands was excessively dusty but the room was very clean everywhere else. I arrived at 1pm and asked if my room happened to be ready early and it wasn’t. The front desk stated they’d text me when it became available but I never received a text. At 4:20pm I went back to the front desk to inquire and they stated it was ready. They seemed preoccupied setting up for social hour. There were some fairly hefty amenities charges that I didn’t expect.
