I always stay at the Stanly when flying through Port Moresby. The rooms are spacious and clean. Their airport shuttles leave every half hour. The Vision City Mall is connected to the hotel and is convenient for any last minute shopping or more food options.

It’s always a pleasure to stay at Stanley Inn and Suites. It’s great being attached to vision City Mall, and to have access to all the shops, and restaurants there. It is becoming our POM go to hotel!

We enjoy the Stanley for its airport transfers and connection with Vision City shopping mall. Stanley is a great place to stay in Port Moresby.

The Stanley is a great place to stay in Port Moresby. The staff are very professional. The breakfast buffet is amazing. The access to the Vission City Mall is a convenient option to avoid having to find a taxi to do shopping.

Convenient location,access to supermarket, clean room, friendly lobby & wait staff. There is a 30 minute wait for Ala Carte however the buffet sufficient and available in the restaurant. Water needs to be served when seated in restaurant and servers need to be attentive (sometimes it was hard to find someone) and smile more. Suggestion: a shuttle between Stanley , Hilton & Holiday Inn to allow guests to travel to/from neighbouring hotels to experience additional dining options for breakfast/ lunch and Dinner. All guests are to be addressed as Sir/ Ma’am / Madam as a courtesy and in English, unless staff the is addressed/ greeted by the guest in pidgin (tok pisin) or other local language. Assuming guests speak tok pisin or addressing a guest as susa (sis) is unprofessional. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and recommend Stanley as a place to stay.

Another five star stay!
Every time I stay at the Stanley, I'm reminded why I keep choosing it. It's lovely, comfortable, clean with excellent service and food. I have yet to find something to complain about - and this stay was no different. Five stars across the board in every way.

The Stanley is somewhat run down, the general cleanliness around the building is not up to standard, items in the room were poorly finished and the rainshower did not work properly. On the plus side the pool and pool area are nicel. As pne of the most expensive places to stay in PoM it does not represent good value for money and you'd be far better off staying at the Hilton

Love that they are connected to the Vision City Mall; lots of choices for dining and shopping without having to hire transport. Unfortunately, their pool and outdoor entertainment area was under renovation and not accessible during our stay.

Restaurant CHIEF CHEF has an attitude. I ate PORK/HAM/pig meat that was placed along with Hash brown potatoes dish and covered. When I complained to the manager, WHITE chief chef stareted arguing that he doesn't have more space. No label and mixing in the hash brown potatoes is NOT acceptable. I brought this up to several managers... if this White Chief Chef continues, STANLEY will have international problem from MUSLIMS for feeding them PORK/POG/HAM by mixing it in potatoes patties and keeping them inside same container with hash brown potatoes.

I loved the location next to the mall. The Stanley is very nice and very clean. Room decor was lacking, and the pillows were too full. Other than that, everything was excellent.

Good position but need maintenance fixes
Rooms suffer from poor quality fittings. My shower had more water out the side of the shower rose than out the head. Asked housekeeping to look into it but nothing done after 3 nights.

Great hotel with nice level of quality. Some minor improvements could make it even better. Some room fixtures are falling off and stains on the carpets leave a little to be desired. Beds were very comfortable and staff helpful. Having the mall next door very convenient.

Lovely stay that I'd repeat without hesitation!
My stay was lovely - just what I expected. It was clean and beautiful in all areas. I can't think of one thing that didn't meet my expectations. I would stay there again without question. The staff were all very helpful and friendly.

This was the first time to stay at this hotel and we were pleasantly surprised. We called for the hotel bus to pick us up and spoke to a very efficient young lady called Agnes. The bus was waiting fir us. Check in was smooth and easy. We were upgraded to an apartment. We had breakfast on the 19th floor and again service was excellent. This is probably one of the hotels in Port Moresby.

Hotel staff was great. We found a bed bug in our room. When I showed it to the they upgraded is to a new room. They seemed to be on top of things as they said they would have someone come in to clean and spray that day. Just a reality of hotels I suppose.

Great hotel, great pool, great staff and great position linked to shopping centre. Also has a great looking gym - but never used it. Free wifi. Nice light food from the pool bar. A favourite hotel in POM.

Needs some "front of house" training going on in my opinion. Had front desk staff telling me to join the line of staff who who were obviously busy but then their were other staff at the desk doing nothing to deal with the waiting customers. When asking for a transfer to the airport, they were pedantic about not wanting to drop me off a few hundred yards away from their usual drop of point. I needed to visit a charter airline but they wanted to drop me off at the terminal only. They just forgot about me in reception whilst trying to find out from management if they could deviate from their route. The actual drivers were brilliant and applied common sense and appeared to be able to understand a customers needs.
