We had a two night stay at McKays. Room was comfortable but the bathroom was tiny. The sink was so small that it was difficult to even wash your face &clean your teeth particularly due to the poor placing of the shelf above. The water pressure in the shower was poor. On the positive note, staff was all lovely and the Scottish breakfast was great.

Friendly staff and very good restaurant. Our room was fairly snug, but was very clean. Parking can be an issue, but we were fortunate. Good location for getting to all the sites and hikes of Perthshire. Really enjoyed their breakfast. Was surprisingly good and more affordable than other places we stayed in Scotland. Reason for our 4 out of 5 is for the bit too snug room, especially when we had booked a room that said it was supposed to be 1600 sq ft along with potential parking issues during busy times (which it was our first night there).

Very nice hotel in centre of Pitlochry
McKays is situated right in the centre of Pitlochry, which means you can park your car and walk everywhere. The hotel overall is very well equipped, the rooms and restaurant are excellent, our rooms were very modern and really nice and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again 10/10.

Really enjoyed our night here which was absolutely spot on for the bus to the Enchanted Forest. Staff were amazing, rooms were clean and modern and the breakfast was spot on. First time we had our wee one in a hotel and the staff at breakfast especially were brilliant with him. Anca was very interactive with him which gave us a break and also she loved! The only negatives we could say was the room we were in was above the bar so the music on a Friday night was audible but did go off at 23:45. The room was quite hot too but we could open the window so not too much of a pain! Would definitely recommend this as an place to stay in Pitlochry.

First time in this Hotel, super welcome from a new receptionist with the most lovely smile. Room was very modern, clean and spacious. Breakfast.... A great variety of options. We would certainly stay there again and would thoroughly recommend.

Had a lovely stay at McKays Hotel, Pitlochry. Staff were all lovely and would definitely stay there again. Only problem we had was parking as the hotel car park is not big but we managed to find a space eventually.

Second visit to McKays and once again they did not fail. The food was exceptional, the seats are very comfy and the staff are friendly and lovely as always.

Excellent hotel
Excellent hotel right in the middle of the Main Street with some lovely shops on the doorstep. The hotel is in very good condition and our room was a very good size and seemed to be comparatively new. The staff were very friendly and efficient and we would be more than happy to return to this hotel.

Just an on overnight stay while at the Theatre. Great room really comfy bed and everything you need. Huge bathroom with a great shower. The breakfast had lots of choice and everything fresh. The only thing I didn’t care for was having to book a for it the night before, however I’m sure you wouldn’t be turned away if you hadnt! This is where I will book for our next trip north

The ensuite bedroom was of a high standard in all ways, which made the public areas, in particular the breakfast dining room look very tired. But there is only so much money you can plough back into a business at a time. Cooked brakfast was excellent !
