Really lovely staff and owner! I didnt use the cleaners as im a tidy guy but room was clean when i got here and the cleaning staff and the lady at the restaurant are so nice and friendly! Happy to come back again!

It's a difficult review for me.....I had just come from a quiet town, and a 4* hotel.......this was neither of them. It's a busy, noisy city......but that's not a bad thing. The hotel was adequate. Was clean enough, staff were nice. Food was good. Hotel isn't brand new so looks it's age a little......but, I can't fault it. All staff are friendly and willing to help!

Staff was friendly. Ok for price and location for short walks to bazaan market and bangla and beach. They did clean well. The downsides- 1- beds are very hard And older stained sheets. But very big beds 2- bathroom was tiny, so showering whole bathroom gets wet. 3- patio door doesn’t lock 4- small bugs in bathroom or floors from time to time. 5-pool area was dirty and not kept up on. Only reason I switched to this hotel was for pool… looked nothing like photos. Old in shambles… would’ve been easy for staff to keep that area clean and organized. 5- elevator not working but I knew that so was ok with it.

The young new resevation counter staff very poor work attitute. I wish him good morning. He did not reply. Never smile. After he check, paid him deposit. He just put the key on on the counter table and sit down. Never said welcome & how to our room. Still Never smile. Sour face. The worst resevation counter staff.

Not staying again.
Everyone at hotel was fantastic, except young boy at checkout. I gave him his hotel key back and he refused to give me my 500 baht back because I didn’t have receipt. It was on the counter of my room and when maids cleaned it was probably thrown away accidentally. It’s not the 500 baht that matters to me. It’s the principle of I gave 500 baht for a key deposit and when I checked out, I gave him the key back and he refused to give me the money back. I will not be staying there again. Up until then, I enjoyed it, but I refuse to accept this type of behavior.

Thank you for the review. and apologize for what happened. Our staff has informed since the day of check-in. On the day you check out, return the key with the deposit receipt. We will return the deposit or must be the owner of the reservation to sign for the deposit refund. Reason for not being able to return because if you still have the deposit receipt You can review that we haven't returned the deposit yet. because you have the original receipt That is why we are unable to return the deposit.

Hotel had nothing to do with the photo they showed on the website the rooms were disgusting were in a different building where we had to cross the bridge so I cancelled my stay after I saw the real conditions so do not advise anyone to stay here They need to change their photos on their website

Friendly staff clean room but needs renovating
Good friendly staff, room was large and tidy however I was not happy with the bathroom it used to get flooded when I took a shower. The plumbing needs to be fixed.

Hotel was nice, restaurant lovely. very good for the price. Only complaints are that the pool upstairs is always crowded and long wait to get a lounger, also, the hotel is super far from the main places in pa tong. Probably about 20 min walk which is a lot on a boiling hot day.

Lovely, clean hotel!
The hotel was lovely and clean. The staff were very friendly. The rooftop pool was amazing and very quiet. The only concern was the noise at night due to the location.

Nice hotel with friendly staff
Very nice hotel. Looks new! Had a room with kitchen. Nice bright room, fair size with small balcony. Staff very friendly, always smiling and saying hello. Good priced restaurant at the hotel. Would definitely stay again when in Patong. Only stayed one night and found no faults. Would stay longer next time for sure

This hotel is gross, false advertisement is an understatement. Hotel doesn’t have an elevator had to haul luggage up three flight of stairs. When we opened the door to the room the bed was right in front, no space to move. There were ants crawling on the bed, bed was HARD and a cardboard box horrible. The bathroom was the highlight NO PROPER SHOWER! Bathroom was a closet you had to shower on top of the toilet with a detachable shower head, disgusting! As soon as we saw the bathroom we walked back down and checked out 10 mins later. Searched for a hotel near by and booked last minute because this hotel was horrible. Stay clear of this hotel it’s disgusting!!

Gem of a Hotel
This is a Gem of a hotel!! I have been to Patong 15 times & this is my first time staying @ Hallo Patong & it wont be my last. From the time I checked in to the time I checked out the staff were so friendly & helpful. It is walking distance to most amenities & 10 minute walk to the beach but with a nice little roof top pool the beach wasn't required. I would recommend this hotel to anybody!!!

Was ok. Got a different room than what we had booked. Our bed was seperate (2 singles) amd when we asked for it to be changed reception said they'll do it in the morning and have no other rooms available. So next day, the beds were pushed together which was super uneven. The beds in general are terrible, sleep on the springs. Shower pressure is great, nice variety of breakfast, good wifi and the rooftop pool is nice. Would recommend if you want to stay cheap but want to get away from hostels/backpackers.

Never can say goodbye to Hallo Patong Hotel
Getting a good nights sleep is critical. There were flat cushions and higher pillows so a choice that was not offered elsewhere, so I made the shift and was so glad I did for this and many other reasons.. That I doubt I can do justice to within 1500 characters here. Customer service is taken to another level here. Booking trips, motorbike hire, where to get a game of pool in, in the wee hours, all no problem for their team of professional and friendly staff. No language barrier, nor any other as I was greeted and welcomed by some very wide smiles from people who loved their work. Such a refreshing and unexpected change from the more reputed places that over price and under-deliver. This for me was a working holiday. The convenience of being able to push out a few reports, watch the tuk tuks go by the street side restraunt, catered for by staff who were a sheer pleasure to be around was a dream come true for me. The vibe was infectious, and evident given the smiles and goodwill between my fellow patrons as well. No hesitation in recomending this place. For some headspace to do some creative work, to relax and catch some rays upstairs by the rooftop pool bar, combine both or just totally chillax. Standards of hygene here, were first rate.. Not something that can always be taken for granted in tropical climates. There is a comprehensive menu including a real breakfast with proper bacon and perfectly fried eggs with soft yolks, served all day.

Great value for money!! Clean and comfortable!
Check in was a breeze! And the staff very helpful! I booked a standard Double room but had a free upgrade to a deluxe room! it looks like it has been recently renovated, the rooms are freshly painted and totally spotless. Good air conditioning in the room, hot water, clean bedding and daily housekeeping. The hotels restaurant has a wide range of food and the pool catches a lot of sun. I was even able to book tours at the hotel front desk.=! Perfect stay, would recommend this Hotel!!!

Do not book the Standard Room, you will be disappointed as it is too small. The location is great, you can have Chinese food and sea food nearby. However, there are very few breakfast options.
