First they put me in substandard room but moved me when I complained. No maid service the next day because I didn't request it! Breakfast $7 for 2 fried eggs and a slice of toast. This is probably the worst hotel I've stayed in out of the 4 I used over the past month. Alas this is my fault because I don't usually use your services because I know they are poor from past experiences. I will have to make a mental note to avoid you in the future.

Nice hotel .
My room was great, nice and quiet and the maid was always ready to clean the room in the mornings. All the hotel staff were polite and helpful.Great value for money.

This area, street 172 has snatch thief. One happen right in front of me. Luckily he was not able to grab the phone. Be very careful if you see motobikes with 2 adult young male when walking along the dark road in this area

Ok, but you can do better for your money. Air conditioning barely works. Staff friendly. Was on fifth floor and bar across the street was loud until well after midnight. Location isn't bad but not great.

There was no AC in the room I was given on a humid hot night. The hotel staff offered to give me fans. I figure I was given the last room given my late check in. That was not what paid for so i was steamed, got a refund, and walked out. The hotel I went to was much nicer. So i recommend the Silver zriver Hotel.

Close to the FUTA bus station & river. The hotel staff was nice & the room was fine for the price. The beds are hard like all SE Asia beds. It served its purpose for 2 nights.

There're cockroaches in the room once we checked in. And there are also millipede in the bathroom. The floor is not mopped too; very dusty. But, the hotel staff is good.

Poor hotel, first night put me in a mould stench room and lit a candle with aroma oil to hide the smell . 20% of the rooms are 18 sqm not 25sqm. None of the draws worked to put clothes in an no hanging space

Good value, great staff
The staff at Hometown are great. They are helpful and knowledgeable. All of the services that you would need in a hotel. Great prices. The hotel had a very good vibe about it. Felt like home. The only downside of the stay was the quality of wifi in the room. I would definitely go back there.

Noisy nightmare with faulty aircon. NEVER AGAIN!
CONCLUSION: wont stay there again due to horrific noise conditions when trying to sleep and air conditioners not working making the room hot and uncomfortable Here are good ans bad things about this hotel: GOOD: - Cheap price -Great location on 172 street -Staff are usually reasonably friendly anf quick to attend room for a problem BAD: - elevator bell noise will flood your room when trying to sleep every 5 minutes. There is literally NO insulation ANYWHERE around the rooms on any floor -people outside reside at tables outside rooms drinking 8am and yelling. There are some very dodgy redneck tourists that enjoy staying at this hotel -pipes creak and groan with hammering pipes throughout building everytime someone on floor turns on a tap which will ensure you will get minimal sleep - beds are hard and very uncomfortable -people arriving late at night talkung very loudly -hot water not hot just warmish -towels not replaced with clean ones -phone didnt work properly so when you xall reception you get cutoff mid conversation -aircon didnt work and shutoff on automatic timer. Stay refuse to acknowledge air con not working even when room is constantly hot - toilet wouldnt flush after first flush it broke -bathrooms grimy with mouldy meaning when you enter room wholr room stinks like mould and mustiness. Horrible NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN

I found the accommodation to be good and handy to all such as food, transport by Tuk Tuk etc. The purpose of my visit to Phnom Penn was to attend a Dental Hospital which was handy location. The price was also good given that I was there for a lot of nights and the staff helpful and nice at all times.

Excellent for the price. The staff is very helpful and always smiling. Good location.walking distance to the Mekong river. There are many good restautants in the area. There is an elevator wich is good for older people They must have give me a room in renovation because there was no shelf in the shower for the soap and there was a little bit of grout around the tiles in the shower but still in excellent condition. This hotel is an excellent choice.

Overall great stay. Did not have the room I had booked when I arrived, but they apologized and offered breakfast the next day to compensate. I was moved to the correct room the next day. Room cleaning a bit lazy (often the case in the area) but rest of the staff was very nice and super friendly!

Ok for a couple of nights.
We paid for a superior room with 'balcony and city view' but ended up in a basic room as all superior rooms were fully booked, well done Hotels.com, clearly communication issues between agents and hotel. No refund of any sort given either. Basic room was a bit grubby though bedsheets were clean, aircon was good and quiet, location wise it's excellent, walking distance to all the local sights and plenty of fairly priced tuk tuks around to take you further afield. Staff were friendly enough.

The hotel was in a great location and they kindly let us check in early after a long bus journey which was much appreciated. The room decor is grey concrete walls so not the most welcoming but the room was clean.

Hotel was nice and clean. Upon arrival we were given a room but had a nest of bees on the balcony, we were offered another room but we had to wait for it to be cleaned (it was 4pm) no one apologised. We were also asked 3 times to prove we had a breakfast. Apart from this the room was nice, breakfast was ordered and fresh and good location.

Comfortable Stay
We had a lovely stay at Hometown Suite Hotel. We stayed for 3 nights while passing through Phnom Penh. The street the hotel is on is really great for good cheap eats. I would recommend the homemade noodle place across the street. The room was very large with our own balcony and bathroom. The room was very comfortable and clean. We had no issues with our stay at all. The concierge helped us book our day trips around the city to see the S21 prison and the killing fields. They also arranged for our bus trip to Siem Reap. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
