This is perfect for a shorter person who loves trains and planes. The door handles are about 650mm from the floor, and anyone interested in trainspotting and with a keen grasp of the Perth airport schedule will love the stay here. Seriously, they are pretty quiet, very comfortable and amazingly clean.

Noise transfer from adjoining unit
We only found out as we were departing on the morning following our stay that we had been given one of the limited number of units with doors adjoining another unit. There was significant noise transfer via the adjoining unit door. Naturally, had we been aware, we would have chosen one of the units that was not joined to another.

Expensive little gem 😝
The place was clean and comfortable - very dated and we had a shower that leaked non stop (dripping noise drove me a little batty!) We stayed as was close to a swan valley function we had so location suited us for that reason. Quite overpriced for the dated room we got. Guess it’s the historic charm 😝 service was lovely, pub on premises is quite good and Guildford is a lovely little town! Bed was comfy too.

The perfect stay over for xmas including the most wonderful christmas lunch. All the staff were great from checking in at reception, bar staff, wait staff, cooks, chefs & cleaners. We will definitely be back to this beautiful historic hotel ... a credit to the owners for the beauty it portrays and hiring the right staff 💛

Nice hotel, terrible airplane noise.
The room was nice, the location was good for us as it was close to a wedding we were attending. Sorry but although its not the fault of the Rose and Crown I would never stay again the airplane noise was horrendous, woke me at 6:30 and could get back to sleep as they were flying over continuously, got up and left an hour later. As this is limited flights due to covid I dread ti think what it would be like when all the flights resume, I thought they were landing in the carpark!

Check in office close at 4pm, room was clean and well laid out. All the services were in the standard folder in the room, this included the contact numbers for room service, two numbers. Well after a long day we decided to get room service to deliver meals, unfortunately there was no answer from either extentsion, left a voice message, but alas no return call. Very disappointing.

It was very convenient for us as we had an early morning appointment and the cost was reasonable. It was a rather cold time and we had some difficulty getting the air conditioner to warm up the room...but ended well!

Very disappointed in the Expedia site I made an error in the date tried to changed it straight away but after 2 hrs on hold on the phone and several attempts to rectify it on line with the virtual bot I gave up. So lost my money and had to rebook for the correct date - on another site. Won’t use Expedia again.

The property location within an historical area in the Swan Valley WA. Easy access to tourist areas.Motel situated close to the hotel with excellent meals. Walking distance to amazing restaurants.

The Rose & Crown is a lovely heritage hotel & resteraunt in the green leafy suburb of Guildford. Inside the main building is like going back to colonial times. Though the rooms are modern with a/c, ensuite & coffee/tea making facilities.

Great value for money, with parking included. It was a basic motel room, but very clean, perfect for a stopover. Didn’t realise it would be located under a flight path, lol, so many planes going over at all hours. But it’s located in a very pretty spot, great room service food, and very clean & comfortable. Would recommend and stay again. Thank you!
