Avoid this hotel .
I booked a breakfast and didn’t get one . One of the receptionist’s was totally ignorant. The shower had no water pressure and leaked all over the bathroom. The bed was not comfortable at all and lastly the cleaner constantly while I was in bed starting from 6.55am and came back 5 times . There was a young lady that worked the bar and the reception on my last night and she was very very helpful .

I liked where the hotel was situated, it was central. We were promised a cooked breakfast and the chef never showed so no cooked breakfast!! They had a flood On the Saturday but it was repaired and lights and power points were off On the Sunday too! . The flight of stairs were dangerous. especially in the dark. The carpets were worn and hazardous!! No heating on and the hotel was baltic!! Do i need to go on. I think i should be entitled to a full refund it was a complete joke... hope to hear from you soon about my complaint! A. Coutts.

Hotel is old and need of desperate refurbishment, stayed on 2nd floor no lift, stairway precarious. Neighbour had tv very loud complained to reception nothing done, had to sort problem out myself.

The room needed serious updating, windows had gaps in them and could hear outside noise. Towels had blood stains on them. When they came to clean room, all they did was tidy the bed, no replacing tea, milk etc. The bathroom was grim, needed a thorough clean. On the plus side, the bar food was stunning, shame the rest of the hotel didn't match it. Would never stay here again

Room was booked for 3 adults sharing and the room was only made up for 2 adults in a double. We had to ask for pull out single to be made up, the mattress on which was totally inadequate for an adult and you could feel every spring of the frame. Then had to go back dow to ask for towels for the third (this appeared to be very inconvenient for staff). The fold down bed was in a very narrow hallway tight outside the bathroom door which did not shut. Handle also came off the dividing bedroom door. None of it was especially clean, particularly the bathroom floor. Had a drink at the bar, 3 gin and tonics, all mismatched glasses and there was a layer of dust on everything behind the bar. Decided not to eat. Continental breakfast was help yourself and consisted of juice which had been decanted into sticky bottles, cheap fruit yoghurt and cheap bread to toast (1 of the 2 toasters was missing the handle). Jars of spread were just lying on the side and numerous people had used knives etc in all of them. No pastries. The coffee pots were also filthy (thankfully there was a very good coffee shop nearby). It was not a cheap place to stay £285 for 2 nights. With a little more care and attention this could have been a good place to stay but it currently gives. Really poor impression of Perth and Scotland for tourists. COULD NOT RECOMMEND Would not recommend it stay again

Not a three star hotel
For a three star hotel, this was not good. Various items in the room didn't work - kettle, TV. And the shower leaked on to the floor. The beds were worn out and the pillows needed replacing. It was also extremely noisy. Even with the windows shut the traffic noise from 5am was awful. The rooms were barely serviced. On the second day we had to ask for more toilet roll. The pictures on the website are not what you get! Downstairs is ok but we get the impression this hotel must be struggling and might not stay open much longer. The fire alarms also went off briefly one evening and then again in the middle of the night - very disturbing. The best bit about it was the man who served breakfast each day - he was very nice and helpful. We wouldn't come back here I'm afraid
