Great location with parking included. The apartment smelt very strongly of cigarette smoke despite the "No Smoking" signage, & this took at least 24 hours to fade with the opening of all windows. Great amenities but terrible pillows. Not very clean.

When I booked I thought I was staying in Arundel St like the picture on the website and indeed on this communication from you. After paying I was sent an email saying I had to come to Arundel st to pick up keys for a different place at 23 Adelaide st in one of the main streets of Fremantle. It turned out to be some residential apartment building, nothing like the picture in this communication or the website I booked off. I felt deceived. You even had to take your own rubbish away or there was a $20 penalty and another notice of threat if you didnt leave the place the way you found it (I took photos of these). The television reception was poor on the small television that was there. The bathroom was second rate and hotch potch. I could go on but to say I was extremely disappointed was an understatement

A great little cottage
We stayed in the Wray Avenue cottage. The location was perfect, and the cottage stunning. It has all the kitchen equipment, furniture and cushions etc needed for a home from home

Loved the location. Very easy to get to shops, market, cafes. Close to public transport. Spectacular views of harbour. Had everything we needed for a couple of days. Only complaint was that some of the linen (towels and sheets) were marked and grubby.

The only great thing about the property was the location, which was excellent. The property itself was filthy. Walls, windows, light switches, fans, ceilings and other appliances. No door on one bathroom and a door that didn't close on the other. We didn't cook in the kitchen after discovering the cockroaches. Such a shame, as with a lot of TLC it has great potential.

Open condom wrappers in the bedside drawers. Wasn't impressed. I booked it because it said it had WiFi but we had to collect a Vodafone pocket WiFi that only lasted an hour

Rubbish
This is not a holiday apartment. It is an apartment in a large high rise building amongst a wide range of permanent residents. The demands by the renting company was ridiculous and unfair. I paid for the privilege of staying there not to be lectured on taking rubbish out. I paid you to do that. Extremely noisy from other tenants and outside noise pollution. High on the 6 th floor very difficult to take suitcases and other items to the room. Car parking was a distant away from the building. TV was so small that Tom Thumb and Thumberlina would have had trouble watching it. I didn’t stay the full 4 nights. I cut my losses. Anybody reading this please do not book this room. It is not worthy as a holiday apartment. Very outdated. Needs major reburshment to meet standards required for a holiday apartment.

Close to everything
Val was excellent to deal with. House was almost all we could ask for. Does become a little warm down below but leave the bedroom doors open and leave aircon upstairs on lets the cold air drop. We were very pleased and thought it great value for money for 3 people. Will definitely do this again at #28.

The location is fantastic and can be a really lovely place, unfortunately the cleanliness wasn’t great. Thick dust and even used tissues under the coffee table. So we wouldn’t be back however I met a lovely lady collecting the keys and location like I said is great

Good location , grubby unit.
The unit was really grubby. Kitchen bench had dead cockroaches on it that looked like they’d been there a while. The floors needed sweeping straight away as they were dirty too. The pantry has leftover supplies in it and needs a good clean out. The courtyard was very dirty and covered with leaves and lots of weeds growing. When using the hot water the pipes clanged very loudly. Air conditioner unit had pieces missing from the front. The door handle to the second bedroom fell off when touched. There were no towels in the main bedroom or bathroom, and only 2 supplied in the spare room. Don’t think there’s been any maintenance done in this unit for a long time. Good location but some work needs to be done there. At present not worth the price but could easily be improved.

Ugly high rise building, very tired and dirty
Apartment we stayed in is a very ugly high rise building, and is not featured in any of the photos advertised at Fremantle Holiday Accomodation. Photos on the property booking link only show beautiful cottage like buildings. The apartment we stayed in was very dirty and tired looking. Several things were broken, including the door handle to the balcony, bathroom towel rack, kitchen cupboard doors, water in bathroom sink did not drain properly, paint was peeling off on bathroom ceiling. Walls, windows, balcony and dishes in cupboards were very dirty. There were old potatoes left in a bag under the kitchen sink. The bed linen looked very tired and had old stains on it. There was old soap left in the shower. There is also lots of stuff in the cupboards, it felt like someone actually lives there and when not at home, the apartment is used for short term accomodation. Curtains do not block out light, so even at night, it wasn’t dark in the apartment due to outside artificial light penetrating through the curtains. The apartment has no aircon or heater. The keys need to be picked up and dropped off about a 15 minute walk from the apartment. One is also required to drop off the rubbish after the stay. None of this is mentioned when booking the accommodation.

I went over to Fremantle to work and needed a space that could accommodate my temporary office plus the comforts of home. This was a great facility, great location with shops at either end of the street. I really enjoyed my stay

Walking distance to beach
Few streets from Hospital, Markets and Beach. Keyless entry so this was a bonus. V modern inside with all amenities for holiday comfort. Washing machine, Tumble Dryer, dishwasher etc. Has oddles of Freo charm with a quaint courtyard outside big enough to entertain. A lovely experience all round.

Fremantle South Beach Apartments
The staff were excellent and the beds comfortable..... however the accommodation was less than acceptable. I know it was cheap however the oven ws dirty and smked out the apartment wjen turned on. The plumbing fittings need replacing showrrs drip all night. The type of accommodation wasnt known until we turned up on the night, i assumed it would be 3 bedrooms it was 2 bedrooms with extra bed in one of the rooms. The bathroom was open to the master bedroom which is fine if the screens closed properly for the privacy of others but it didn't. The unit felt dirty the dust accumulation under the couchs plaued havoc on alergies.

Gorgeous property and well located on Wray Street.
Stayed at the property for 10 days and it felt like being at home. Owners very generous with the contents, - quality, quantity and variety. Past guests also left lots of little things for next guests to use.

Was in a fabulous central location. Being so close to everything yet very quiet worked well for us. Parking was a bit challenging with limited on street parking and a VERY tight parking spot. But overall great experience.

Cute cottage ..spotless & tranquil
This accommodation was perfect and the photos do not do it justice as its much prettier than the pictures suggested .. the front half is a character cottage with beautiful floorboards and lovely long hallway with two nice sized bedrooms off it ... the back half of the house is a modern renovation with dining /tv /kitchen area plus brand new spotlessly clean bathroom /toilet.. it's very well set up with everything you will need and the out door area is very neat/green/relaxing and perfect amount of space for a few people to relax with a glass of wine and a chessboard .. it suited our stay as just one Adult with adult kids visiting and just enough space for 6 of us for Christmas dinner ..the garden even gave us a Christmas tree :) I'd happily recommend this to any one wanting carefree accommodation within walking distance of all the fun that Freo has to offer ! so close to the cafes and a nice small quiet bar .. great place and the staff were helpful and I received all info in time and had zero problems .. the hardest part was leaving :) .. this accommodation is simple but lovely

Good Location Rock Hard Beds
Rooms were not cleaned to a good standard with rubbish behind chairs etc. Carpet is fairly gross with many stains needs replacing. Gardens were overgrown with lots of weeds. Curtains are old and holy. Basically needs a reno to bring it up to standard. Location is great with good bars and great food very close by and the beach is a few minutes walk away.

Beware the stated address can be several kilometers from the actual apartment you are renting. My payment was non refundable and if was luck and helpful staff who found another one which was 2.5 km closer to where I wanted to be.

The apartment at Russel Street is great. Spacious, clean, and comfortable. The only problem is the apartment is not exactly located at the a dress shown in the map, which caused some confusion.

can walk to beach but facilities basic
walls marked, carpets not clean, very basic...of the 2 sofas 1 smelt everytime you sat on it of urine, overall very disappointed with the rooms, needs a refurbishment and a re paint, carpets cleaned and new sofa
Thank you for your feed back. I will have the cleaners look into the urine smell, a bit strange as this had not been reported to us. We have been asking the owner to revamp ie; paint, new blinds and he has confirmed he will be doing this for us soon.
