The resort was "decent". Booked entirely based on price. Resort needs some serious TLC. They should invest in the property and it would be nice. Remove window aircon and install split system. Install small refrigerators in the rooms. Our aircon barely dropped the temperature even when i left it running 24 hours Restaurant was not good. Thank God for McDonald's down the street Based on the lack of attention to the property by the foreign owners, we would not recommend. It seems they are happy with things being what they are

Amazing place about 15 mins walk from Coron centre. Staff were so friendly and kind. A quiet paradise in the hubbub of Coron. Highly recommend.

This was a great place to stay. Roosters and motorcycles were noisy but the beautiful gardens made up for it. My only complaint was lack of hot water and water pressure.

Great stay at the Kokosnuss resort. The place is quite strange, Salvador Dali’s style but it’s really peaceful. This is not the newest place in Coron but if you’re looking for something different from a classic resort, go for it. And about people complaining about animal noises, guess what, this is Philippines!

Nice hotel with garden and pool. Sensible price. On the outskirts of Coron town, which is a 5-10min trike ride to the centre.

Budget Hotel
Budget stay!!! If you’re trying to save few quids. The whole place needs upgrading especially the rooms and bathrooms. We got shifted to 3 different rooms because things stopped working in the room. Staff were friendly and nice and helpful. 10-15 mins walking distance to the town/Port.

Small bungalow was just right
A needed and pleasant upgrade from previous lodging. The small bungalow was just right. Only remarks would be that Wi-Fi was only available at the check in area and occasional dog barking from the property next door, but everything else was outstanding.

Poor conditions and unsatisfactory stay
The room that I was assigned contained ants and was not entirely clean before my arrival. E.g hair on the floor The room was very humid and TV did not always work. The pool amenity was not available as they were under construction; this was not communicated to me at or prior to my booking. I was forced to upgrade to pay 50% more for my room that was smaller and without a sink.(bait and switch)

Room was okay. It was unique, as it lets its guests experience a traditional Filipino ambience. However, facilities are quite old. When we were there, pool was under construction. Maintenance wasn't very impressive too, given the garden environment it portrays. For the Small Bungalow type of room, Toilet and Bath doesn't have any lavatory. We had a hard time brushing our teeth. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

Probably used to be really nice
When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by the owner who welcomed us warmly and all the staff we met were very kind. Unfortunately, the property itself seems to have fallen into disrepair. The room we were given looked like it hadn't been swept or mopped in weeks. There were hairs everywhere, bugs crawling on the floor and around the windowsills and some kind of possibly rodent fecal matter in the corner under the air conditioner. I refused to put my 8 month old baby down and wouldn't let my other children walk barefoot. The sheets were threadbare and there was a hole in the wall that had a plank of wood leaning against it. The bathroom window wouldn't close so the air conditioner had a tough time cooling it. Fortunately we were only slotted to spend one night there before moving on to a different part of the island so we checked out first thing the next morning.

Good for price and for travelers spending majority of time outdoors. Worth extra to get room with aircon - will be much more comfortable and offer better ventilation. Clean rooms though expect to see things like ants, which is typical. Bathroom could have been in better condition though as toilet had to be flushed manually.

Cozy hotel close to uptown.
This hotel has a beautiful garden with a small pool and swing sets. Our room was clean and the bathroom was spacious and clean also. Very nice food with a good selection on the menu. We found all of the staff friendly and helpful. The rooms do not have a fridge but water and juices are available at the front office.

Strange experience...
Breakfast staff was weird, they didn’t really smile or paid much attention to the order. It’s like they robotically went through the motion w/o paying much attention to customer requests. I ended up eating breakfast elsewhere in town, especially after I was served rice with a rock right on the very top! I mean, come on, the rock was brown on white rice and on the very top, clearly visible! I was over having breakfast there after that. Too many bad experiences with a simple thing like breakfast! The rooms were good, comfortable overall, except that the toilet had no toilet seat! Also, the place is out of town a bit, I’d suggest staying in town for better experience.

Beautiful hotel
This place was beautiful it felt like it’s own little resort next to the city. They had plenty of sitting places from hammocks to chairs to relax on. The room decor was beautiful and the restaurant food was really good.

A lot of what the resort was supposed to offer didn’t come with our stay. It is not attached to a winery, the staff didn’t some serve your table, you had to go out of your way to get something and then had to ask sometimes 3 times for it. Beds/pillows were very uncomfortable.

friendly cave gardens close to town...
booked a day in advance. very friendly staff! nice garden feel. stayed in the "cave". kitschy with stalactites in the room. just stayed for an overnight before an early flight. easy to arrange early airport van was a plus. a bit overpriced, but did the job. 20 mins walk from center of town. 5 mins with tricycle. would stay again.

Great garden & great staff
Friendly staff. Very helpful for organising tours or transfers. Great garden for chilling & relaxing in. The town centre is about 15 mins walk or you can use Tricycles to get into the town centre Would stay here again.

Good value for the money.
Proximity to town, a decent menu, creatively decorated and fairly inexpensive rooms are good reasons to give this place a try. The only annoyance was the excess of ants in our room. I don't mind them crawling around the bathroom, but I frequently had to pick them off the bed while laying down for the night.

Enjoyed my 5 night stay (Jan-2015)
Good location: only few minutes to the harbour/town-center. Nice food: we had most of our breakfasts and dinners there. Big garden, flowing fountains, quite an oasis. Still not sure if it was a plus or a minus: Lizard / large-gecko was in our room. I am used to geckos in North Queensland, Australia, but this was 20cm large.

The disadvantage of the system is, that some of the remoter bungalows need up to 1 minute, until the hot water reachs the bathrooms. Good enough for a traveller on budget
I booked 3 rooms in this resort because there were 10 of us family members. The place still shows damages from hurricane Yolanda. I gave 2 stars for room comfort because one of the cottages we were given had no sink and had only a curtain for a bathroom door. The family room and the other room they gave us had good bathrooms. Also, if you are allergic to smoke, do not stay in the cottages that have thatched/native roofing. Apparently, people in Coron burn either garbage or dried plants. The smoke would seep through the room and you will be inhaling smoke. Request a room that have a solid structure. The shuttle service to and from the hotel was efficient and prompt. If you want to eat breakfast before your excursions, the hotel staff will cook for you. We took a package tour recommended by the hotel staff; a whole day excursion and very well worth it. The views of the islands were breathtaking. We went snorkling and saw lots of live corals. Be prepared to walk up the rocky steps toward one of the lakes. We went to Maguinit Hotspring; the road was not paved so it was a bumpy ride. We ventured to town on our own by riding the local transportation-motorcycle with a passenger sidecar. The tricycle driver took us to where we could buy cheap souvenier t-shirts. We ate dinner in one of the restaurants the hotel recommended. Prices of food in the menu were reasonable. If you are an adventurer and do not mind the inconveniences associated with an underdeveloped place, visit Coron.

Dear Yumi, Thank you so much for staying with your family here, you are very nice and comfortable guests and we enjoyed the time with you. About bath rooms: only 3 of 26 rooms have no lavabo/sink and a curtain, not a door. They are designed by me long time ago, when Coron was only a destination for adventures. In this time, they where the first and only private bath rooms in Coron! The bath of this 3 rooms (type 2 "small Bungalows") is really very basic only and so, we offer them to low rates to our guest.

Roosters reign supreme
No towels provided, had to go to the reception and request. No maid service, we had to ask for it. Roosters screeched from 2:00 am til way after sun up. Impossible to sleep during that time. However, the bungalow was right out of storybook. Very cute and comfortable except for all of the above. We would definitely not stay at this hotel again.

Tutto perfetto, camere molto pulite e spaziose, staff disponibile. L'unico inconveniente è stato che abbiamo dato da lavare vestiti e biancheria e ci è stata consegnata al pelo prima di partire (letteralmente 15 minuti prima di prendere il van per l'aeroporto, mentre dovevano arrivare la sera prima come ci avevano detto). Quando ho controllato il giorno dopo, mi sono accorta che mancavano TUTTE le mie mutande... (dimenticanza? non lo sapremo mai)

Met veel groen en tuin omgeven hotel.
Kokosnuss is een leuk hotel/resort met veel groen. Helaas zijn sommige kamers in de tuin wat gedateerd, maar nog steeds prima 'value for money'. Ontbijt is prima en niet duur. Zwembad was helaas in onderhoud en kreeg een opknapbeurt, zag er goed uit. Ondanks dat het wat buiten het centrum ligt wel een goede locatie voor wat meer rust.

ホテルは町の中心から離れていて静か。町にはトライシクルで10分ぐらい。一人15ペソ。ホテルの雰囲気は良いが、滞在中はプールの改修工事が行われてて、プールの利用ができなかったのが残念。レストランで食事もでき、オーナーがドイツ人だからドイツ料理も食べることができ、宿泊客は割引もありお得。宿泊客の多くはドイツや他の欧州からの旅行者。部屋は簡素。シャワーのお湯が出にくい。インターネットはレストランの周りのみwi-fiあり。

Fränt ställe med justa rum, servicen var lite knackig, men om man frågar och ber om hjälp eller så hjälper de en. Läget är sådär, men tror inte det finns så många ställen alls kring coron som har bra läge, så duger gott!

オプションでアイランドホッピングにいきましたが海の透明度に感動しました。 行ってよかったです。ただこの島全体が日本のクレジットカードが使用できません。ホテル、レストランすべて現地通貨のキャッシュが必要です。両替所のレートもかなり悪く困りました。

缺点：酒店离镇上有一段距离 步行15分钟可以到达 酒店的院子稍显杂乱 外观有一些旧 泳池很小 家庭间空间不大 而且只有一个厕所 使用起来不天方便。 优点：员工很热情友善，我们因为时间晚了订不到船 老板很积极的帮我们联系 还帮忙砍价 在实在订不到船的情况下邀请我们参加了他们的出海行程（大概是一部分员工休假自己组织出去玩）。而且出海以后对我们也很照顾 令我相当难忘。

Unzufrieden mit Sauberkeit und Ausstattung
Vom Deutschen Managment war leider nicht viel spürbar. Zwei der Kopfkissenbezüge hatten einen sehr strengen Geruch. Trotz Reklamation wurde der Kissenbezug auch am 2. Tag nicht gewechselt. Auf Nachfrage bekam ich in der 2 Nacht einen ca. Röhren TV mit nur ca. 40cm Diagonale, der nur 2 Philippinische Sender empfangen konnte. Keine Klimaanlage. Nachts hatte es im Zimmer um die 30°C. Kein Moskitonetz am Fenster und am Doppelbett. Wegen Bauarbeiten war es relativ laut. Sehr kleines Waschbecken und kleine Toilette. Die Matratze bestand nur aus einem ca. 70mm dickem sehr weichem Schaumstoff. Bett aus Bambus war sehr wackelig. Das Frühstück war am 1. Tag recht gut. Am 2. Tag gab es jedoch keinen Schinken mehr. Etwas ärgerlich: Auf dem im Menü abgebildeten Foto war das Frühstück mit einer halben Mango dargestellt. Bekommen haben wir jedoch nur eine Viertel. Auf Nachfrage wurden wir auf einen Text im Menu verwiesen dass das Frühstück leicht vom Bild abweichen kann. Für Deutsche ungewöhnlich: Wollte um 12:30 Mittagessen und wurde denn darüber informiert dass Das Resataurant von 12:00 bis 17:00 geschlossen ist.

Sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal! Tolle Apartments und ein richtig schöner Garten. Sehr ruhig und trotzdem nahe der Stadt.
