We’ve stayed at other affordable hotels before and usually get what we expect. But it was obvious from when we got there the staff worked hard with what they had. And we couldn’t find anything wrong. They exceeded our expectations, and gave us a refund when we had to leave earlier because of weather. It wasnt even a question for them and the hotel was pretty empty. It was clean and quiet. The beds were comfortable. Only issue was we read another guest had complained days earlier because they had no hot water. We thought we had the same issue, turned out it just needed to run a while because there weren’t many guests.

Although the room was nice, someone on the 2nd floor was up at 5 a.m. We could hear every footstep and the floor creaked horribly. For that reason I would recommend staying on the 2nd floor. When we awoke, we had only slightly warm water, no hot water for a shower. Continental breakfast was nice. Sausage and scrambled eggs were very good.

Water not hot enough
Left this morning very early to continue on with our automobile trip -- awoke to shower, only to find that the water was not sufficiently hot to invite a shower. Very unhappy. We demand very little from a hotel stay -- but hot water is an essential.

Big mistake
No parking. Had to park next to a row of semis, hope I didn't towed and walk 100 yards. Understaffed. Note taped to counter said they were full and to dial zero to check-in. Incompetent staff. They put me in a room that was already occupied and I was nearly killed. Uncomfortable. Walked into a steamy hot room and the A/C didn't work. It was cooler in the hallway. Skipped their cheap breakfast and got the hell out. I highly recommend you stay somewhere else. I know I will.

A Clean, Budget hotel with No Elevator
I’ve read many critical reviews. I only mark it down more than I normally would be at its 2 floors with no elevator. The guest service was very good. Room was clean and comfortable. The halls do smell some and are worn.

The room smelled terrible, possibly of urine, but undetermined. We should have asked for a different room but we arrived late and were tired and feared the entire motel just smelled bad as the odor seemed to have penetrated everything in the room.

We made the mistake of booking on a weekend so the price was jacked up. I was fooled by that thinking it would be better. It was fine for a night. Sheets were clean. Bathroom was clean. Very dingy and sketchy feeling halls though. Gas station right next door. Keep in mind theres a train that goes off around 7 am.

Not so good!
This was an average, small town, motel off the freeway with a $140 price tag! Check-in was not good. The desk clerk sent my handicap wife all the way down the hall to the third to the last room, instead of suggesting that she use the back door. The room across the hall is blocked off with towels under the door and electrical cords going into the room. Heater and fans running. When I asked at the desk, they said it was not bedbugs! Definitely not a pleasant experience, even at a much lower price.

Was just passing through. The staff was very accommodating and kind. We got there late and they waited for us and barley made it down to breakfast before it was closing up and she waiting patiently letting my son finish his breakfast. No complaints at all.

Very Clean, very friendly, NEXT TO TRAIN TRACKS - So we heard teain horns late and early. Shower pressure was poor and shower head very low, I am 6ft and had to squat.to get my hair wet.

Excellent and comfortable, close to Highway, very good breakfast. Only thing you should know, which didn’t bother me because I fell right back to sleep, is that there was a train whistle pretty close in the middle of the night.
