Room was quite dated, felt more like a 3 star hotel. Shower design seems nonsensical with no way to fully enclose it to keep the water in. Location is great and staff was friendly, though.

The breakfast buffet on the top floor was great and had a nice panoramic city view. The room was spacious. Amenities like the pool and fitness room were excellent.

Great place to stay. Great access to the station, shopping and restaurants. Beds were a little on the hard side but the room was spacious.

Very nice hotel in central location, just not so convenient to get outside and explore. Need to go through a two elevators or several stairs. Also went during high season so not adequately staffed, hard to find help. But staff very friendly and helpful when you do request it. Would stay again.

A great hotel with a great service, location. Lots of dining options, shopping mall and tons of other shop ping options. 7 minutes walking distance to dotonbory (I am not a fan of crowds but someone may like it it) right on top of subway and train station.

We booked a room for 4 and it was spacious with 4 beds , a balcony upstairs and a spacious and wonderful bathroom. Great location and hotel staff friendly and accommodating. Would return !!

Slap bang in the middle of everything- shopping, dining, entertainment - it’s all there. Train station is in front of the hotel and there’s a shopping mall attached to it. Dotombori and Shinsaibashi is within walking distance. The staff are friendly and helpful and the facilities are excellent! Nice indoor pool and gym and great breakfast! Highly recommended

Great views from our room . Only complain was that our non-smoking room smelled like old cigarettes but the staff was very friendly and allowed us to switch rooms. The breakfast was not bad but it was the least favorite out of all the other breakfast we had at other hotels. Overall, the room was very spacious and comfortable.

Love staying at this hotel! I stayed here with my family, and the service was excellent from check-in to check-out. The multi-lingual staff are amazing. There was a lot of space for my family (2 adults and a 23 month-old). The hotel is connected to the Namba train station, Takashimaya department store, and many shops. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Terrible bed quality. Tiny room and dated. Breakfast was the worst among five star hotels I’ve ever visited all around the world. The worst swissotel among it’s properties for sure.

The Swissotel Namba is well designed, very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff, clean, very modern, accessible to all modes of transportation, close to major attractions and great restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there the next time we are in Osaka.

The location is awesome. Easy access to the train and bus systems. Very close to lots of shopping and Dotonbori. The staff were super helpful and the amenities were good.

Clean. Staff are nice. Sauna and workout area are good as well. Location is great. The property is aging and for a five star hotel I found the carpet in my room to be old and spotted, also the bathroom lacked in quality, very clunky outdated shower head and low ceiling.

Every staff in Swissotel was so friendly and very helpful. We had a pleasant stay and enjoyed our trip very much. It was extremely convenient getting to Swissotel from the airport too. Central location.

The hotel was great and would work if you are traveling alone. However we booked our rooms for 3 people in each room. (3 adults and 3 kids total). Our kids are teenagers which we stated at booking. They expected all 3 people to sleep in the same bed! Acted put out that I wanted a rollaway bed. And then charged me 10000 yen ($75) per bed per room per night!! That adds up fast. And then didn’t even deliver the beds until almost 11pm. Felt like a trick!!! Beware!!

Stayed 2 nights with breakfast. Breakfast was superb with both Japanese and Western options. The view and spacious dining area was much appreciated. Single room was very spacious. While others have commented that the orange wood furniture looked dated, they are still in very well-kept condition. Probably because it was an international hotel, the concierge told us that the hotel did not have a microwave for guests to use. We realised that when we wanted to eat frozen dumplings from the nearby Horai 551. Location is very convenient and connected to the mall. Many other shopping malls nearby.

Hotel location in Namba cannot be beat. Super convenient. Hotel is not new but well maintained. Housekeeping was excellent and the rooms were kept very clean throughout our stay. We slept well and I liked the smaller pillows provided compared to the huge pillows that major hotels tend to offer. One complaint would be surprisingly thin walls and ceilings as we could hear loud guests around and above us late into the nights. Luckily, we were so tired when we returned to the hotel each night that it didn’t bother us overly. When we left, we were laden with luggage. We didn’t ask for porter assistance as we could still manage. Nevertheless, it was a disappointment that no staff offered to help even when they saw us at the lobby as we checked out and waited for airport pickup.
