Service of staff was superb. Facility amenities scream ambiance. However the material used in making of headboard should be changed and not used again as discoloration from use extremely noticeable. I was surprised having seen the rest of the room and facility that they had not been removed.

Reliable quality for a short trip
The room was spacious, the breakfast was plentiful, and we didn't have the time to test the spa facilities, therefore we cannot comment on them. Even though we did have the deluxe room with a balcony, our friends had a better view from the standard riverside double room (which had no balcony, but we didn't have use for that anyway). Heating via the A/C was a bit weak, so take that into consideration. On-site parking was available, but limited so that for the first night we had to park it at the nearby aquatics centre. If you don't want to dine at the hotel, there were plenty of restaurants on your way to the city centre.

1. The water was brown. Every time I used the tap, I had to wait for the water to clean. And no, the reason is not the city (as the reception told me). Very dissapointed 2. The air conditions wasn't working, and the room had no window. It was extremely hot. The reception did nothing to help me.

They don't have kitchen open on Sunday and Monday. The restaurant was closed, no room service. I find that inacceptabile for a Hilton, even if it's Double Tree

Our choice was based on the available amenities. The spa was very very poor and staff surley Cold pool, jacuzzi had only half the jets working, steamroom not working Additional services advertised (nailbar) discontinued 2 years ago. Hotel staff were good but massively understaffed in key areas - reception and cafe lounge.

Had a lot of problems with the wifi which was a problem as I am taking an online class. The hotel does not have airconditioning year around. It seems it is either the season you can control the heat in your room or the season you can control the air conditioning but not both. While we were there they were having problems with the heater and it was so hot we had to keep the balcony door open 24 hours a day so we had bugs in our room :(
