"I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel! Affordable and connected to the Nagano train station. There is a nice shopping area nearby as well for gifts for family and food for yourself in your room. Highly recommend this hotel!"

"We stayed the night at this hotel during a longer trip and chose it for its proximity to Nagano Train Station. We saw the hotel from the train when we arrived into Nagano so it gave us our bearings to walk there from the station with the aid of Google maps. The room was comfortable and a good size. The bonus was the massage chair which my young son loved to use. This hotel has excellent facilities for travellers like the coin operated laundry facilities on the 2nd floor and the microwave oven for heating food. In the lobby, there’s a refreshment station and toiletries for guests to take. The staff are lovely and helpful and speak good English for those of us who don’t speak Japanese. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a quality hotel close to Nagano station. "

"We were greeted on arrival by the nicest staff. The lady that was in charge of showing us around was so sweet and informative. She gave us all her recommendation's for an excellent visit to kusatsu and they did not disappoint! We enjoyed the onsens, the new lounge, the drum show and the food! We had so much fun! "

"This was amazing onsen beside the Yubatake (which is right in front on the hotel) so you are in the middle of the town they have Yukata you can borrow and take wear to walk and take pictures outside too. Breakfast and dinner had a lot of options and was really good. Make sure to Book Hal-Board, it is worth it! They have onsen eggs for breakfast too! The only downside is that it is a bit old and the walls are thin so can be noisy when people talk on the hallway but Overall this was an amazing hotel and will come back again!"

"The room was quite large, spotless and with large windows overlooking the lovely surrounding forest and laid out in beautiful traditional Japanese style ... everything was wonderfully prepared. Rocky at the reception and Andes, his assistant from Nepal, were very kind and open and welcoming. The location is excellent as it is only 10 to 15 minutes of gentle walking to anywhere in town ... from the three famous Onsen (Oktakinoyu (with a nice restaurant and indoor/outdoor Onsen), Sainokawara (the beautiful outdoor park Onsen), and Gozanoyu (the elegant Onsen in the very center of town) as well as Yubatake village."
