Liking staying in an apartment...

Pros: Full kitchen, reasonable price per night.
Location: It's located in a quiet suburban neighbor and there's not much to see or do in the immediate vacinity. But it's only a few minutes drive from a mall.
The full kitchen with dishwasher, as well as the size and layout, gives the rooms at Candlewood more of an apartment than hotel-room feel. I've stayed at the Nanuet property about 10 times in the past four years and never had a reason to complain.

Excellent stay

Hotel was way better than I expected. The staff was unbelievable, so helpful and courteous. As someone who travels for my children's sports events I stay in many different hotels. If all Candlewood suites are like this one I will use them exclusively.

Candlewood Nanuet

Better than two star. I would rank 2.5 - 3. Very convenient location. New and clean. No breakfast included, but honor store and great laundry room. Very good for intended purpose.

Nice hotel with rude staff

The hotel itself was great...the staff on the other hand were very rude and unhelpful. We had called down stairs to inform the desk we had pizza on its way, the lady at the desk slammed the phone down after telling us we were being disruptive. No need for the attitude!

Quite good actually. We were there for 3 nights, and our stay was quite comfortable. The bed was very cozy, room was clean, lots of parking space. One fallout was that we need to visit the front desk to get more towels. Another fallout was that they didn't sell any beer at the cupboard. Also, no breakfast option is quite disturbing. Other than that, the stay was excellent, and my team shares my experience.

Awful experience!

We were in the heat for days, got to the hotel the first room smelled like smoke. Left came back the second room NO AC!! 12 midnight, no sleep , we had to get up and play softball in 100 degree weather with no sleep! Just awful!

Breakfast would be nice. The reservation showed us a pull out sofa but was actually a recliner chair. The people at the front desk was amazing.
