Hi Maria,I am sorry you didn't enjoy your stay with us, yes there are steps everywhere with no lifts or ramps. The reason being the building was built 40 years ago by Kerry Packer and back then there was no such thing as proper disable access. If guests call us when they book and ask about access we are always up front about the steps to and from units to the amenities. Unfortunately we didn't here from you before you arrived, had we done so we could have allocated an apartment that had only a few steps to negotiate when coming and going. The pools and spas are always going to be half a dozen steps to get to and from though. There are hand rails you can use to get in and out of the water, but yes the 2 steps into and out of the pool are about 20 to 30cm high. Thank you for the input on the mattress I will have a look and replace it if it is as you say hard and thin.

Hi Justin,When you raised your concerns about bed bugs or mites I engaged a pest control company to come and investigate, they could find no sign of bed bugs or mites. I did call you and offer to send you a copy of their report. Perhaps as suggested by the pest control technitian it could have been sand lice which don't start itching until you relax i.e. on the couch or in bed.

Hi Tamara and thank you for your feedback. You made your reservation in March and in mid April we removed Studios from all online travel agent websites - this was due to there being so few of them that we often overbooked and mainly because we found we were receiving complaints. The issues were due to the size and location of the room type. Guests book on price after having seen the ENTIRE website and are then disappointed, as you were, on arrival. We have them now only bookable direct so that we can explain exactly what people are getting in a conversation as opposed to you just jumping on a website with overinflated expectations.You did book a Studio and that was what we provided. They are what they are and when booking direct this can be best explained.I am sorry that you didn't enjoy your accommodation, but I do hope that you enjoyed Noosa and the complex as a whole.RegardsMelissa Daniels - Manager

Hi Heather and thanks for taking the time to post your reviw. We are extremely clear on all websites regarding the accessability issues we have here at Noosa International Resort. Where possible, and especially if these things are made known to us at the time of booking, we would attempt to allocate a ground floor apartment. It won't alleviate ALL stairs but would have helped. We have had issues with drains and dranage since the floods with higher than normal water tables and we attribute the odour to this. I believe that your husband did mention these things to me at Reception and I did undertake to have them remedied but he declined. Regards Melissa Daniels - Manager
