Dust mites were in the linen provided, and as it was late, we had to use some travel blankets in our car. Also, the room smelt very poorly, and the dishes in the cupboards were dirty. I told reception about the mites the following morning. They did apologise; however, I was told that the unit had recently been treated by a pest control agency, which was surprisingly irrelevant and added to my concern. I strongly recommend more frequent and thorough washing of linens and carpets.
Our apartment was positioned immediately next to a drive through bottle shop, which was rowdy until it closed at midnight. The resort has clearly undertaken no upgrades despite several complaints regarding the excessive sound.
The resort’s proximity to Hastings Street is it’s only attractive feature.
