Location was convenient to buses, walking , shops for groceries, eateries. Staff were extremely accommodating, friendly, housekeepng / and front desk were quick to help us out where we needed assistance. Thank you for this! It was a little lively outdoors socially until the early hours of the morning so earplugs were necessary for us light sleepers. Otherwise, the room was clean and bright and bed very comfortable. We had a very nice stay in the area for our first trip here. We enjoyed meeting lovely travellers both locally and from farther abroad .

Our room could be cleaner, there was a dead cockroach inside the closet and toilet paper inside the bin. Other than that it was ok, staff is super friendly and helpful. A bit noisy but we could expect that from a hostel.

Recommend the private rooms at Nomads. Shared bathrooms are clean, with towels and soaps provided which was hugely appreciated. The bed was comfy and all facilities, including aircon were reliable. Feels secure & convenient with the access key being via the app. Staff were friendly & helpful and the atmosphere felt sociable during our brief stay. Overall would recommend, thank you!

Not sure if the 10pm quiet time applies on Saturdays as we were up till 230 with loud people around. Nice double room was clean. Kitchen amenities/working utensils is next to none, but it is a backpackers in the end

No social distancing or sanitisation in place other than a hand sanitiser at the front desk. Room absolutely stunk. I know it’s a youth hostel but there’s a certain level of responsibility everyone needs to be taking in these times. Very unfair to the Australian economy and everyone you are putting at risk. Entire place stinks from the piles of rubbish.

Not a bad call for your stay in Noosa.
Decent bed. Great showers. Lockers are a good size. Not enough plug sockets. Floor space is scarce for a 10 bed dorm. Night activities are good, lacking much beyond that. Noosa Junction is a minutes walk away for easy food and shopping. The beach and the national park are a bit of a walk away. Got a mixed feeling from the staff. Some spot on. Others mopey.

Decent value
Beautiful area, good location. Parking lot is absolutely terrible, I didn’t realize there was parking on the back of the rooms until I’d left so I actually parked in the free parking lot at the bottom of the hill. Rooms were decent and clean... definitely a party hostel with things going on nightly. Someone from the hostel actually came into our room to encourage us to go to the bar, which was weird...

Great for a short stay.
Great staff. Not bad location. Air con is switched off during a set time of the day to save the footprint. Could sometimes be challenging however a fan was provided.

Thanks for the review! We've extended the aircon times to start early int he evening to run through most of the night to cool everyone off and give you a nice chill room when getting back from the clubs and bars! The aircon also kicks on first thing in the morning until check out at 10:00AM! Cheers again!

Staff weren’t particularly friendly, rooms weren’t particularly clean and it was very much a party hostel, so it wasn’t particularly peaceful. Bunk beds squeaked every time someone moved during the night. “Air con” wasn’t effective, so it was hot & sweaty round the clock. Rooms DID have lockers & there were outdoor eating areas available. 5 min walk to shops. 10 min walk to bus station. 20 min walk up a BIG hill to Hastings St & beach. You get what you pay for.

Thank you for the review.! Our Aircon is on a timer so it turns on at 9PM until early morning so it cools people down so they can sleep. We will increase the length of the aircon times as the summer heat kicks in but it's currently on a restricted time due to our attempt to lower our carbon footprint. We had an odd heat wave the a few weeks agor but it's now back to normal. Cheers -Management

Alright for a place to crash, but that's about it. Very low quality bunk beds that squeak and rattle with the smallest movement. No locking/private storage for bags like other hostels I've stayed at.

Not bad, but a bit shabby.
Your usual backpacker hostel, though kitchen was fairly grimey. Upon return from the frasier island trip, it might've been nice if we had all been put in the same rooms together instead of being woken up at 6am by the next group leaving from our room.
Hey there, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. Sorry about the way you found the kitchen, our housekeeping staff clean it three times or more a day, but in between those times it is up to our guests to clean up after themselves which can leave the kitchen in a state of disrepair sometimes. We try and normally keep all of our Fraser guests in the same room before and after their trip to Fraser to make it a more enjoyable experience, but this is influenced obviously by our current occupants in the hostel and sometimes our other guests do get mixed in. hostel is a disgrace for the price. Pre-set aircon made it impossible to stay in rooms in the day and was not strong enough for te size of rooms. cieling above my bed was falling in. pool looked murky. was close to bus station but a trek from the beach

Strip Club Night just outside the room? Seriously?
Nomads - time to raise your game.Noise insulation a must if you persist with the Club all-nighters next door. And drop the sexist advertising - it is boring and a serious turn-off to at least half your customers. Convenient location. Shame.

I stayed a few nights at Nomads Noosa before and after a trip to Fraser Island and while it wasn't unpleasant, you get what you pay for. The rooms are clean but offer no air-con or storage. You can hire lockers for your valuables although during my visit they weren't working properly. Staff are friendly, there are plenty of cheap drink and food offers and the location is very convenient for both town and the beach. It's perfect for young travellers looking to make new friends and party. This means, that as a more mature traveller, you might find it a little loud.
