Awesome place
Go for the best villa you can afford - it is worth every penny. Gracious service, nice people and awesome food. Do be aware that only the bed rooms have AC.

Getaway in the nature
The resort was lovely with its focus on nature and organic food. Since it is a nature friendly accomodation, there are a lot of lizzards and insects. So, if you are afraid of those, please be aware.

The property is clean and immaculate. The place is heaven. It is very secluded so you feel peaceful and literally feel seven or even eight senses when you’re there. Very romantic. I will definitely come back. Oh and the resort staff was incredible. Helpful. Friendly. Always smiling.

Our stay at six sense was wonderful as expected. The accommodation was impeccable and the overall experience was totally relaxing. As it is an isolated location and all food/entertainment is relegated to on site cost can increase quite fast. The only poor aspect was a special wine cave dinner which we opted for. This was grossly overpriced for the food and the wine pairings were cheap options typical of a grocery store (one wine given I readily see at UK grocers for £8!). This was a big regret from our side.

Out of this world hotel experience
Staying at a six sense hotel is always a good experience. However, this hotel in particular was out this world. The food is probably one the best food you will ever have.the spa is surreal. The hotel staff is always smiling and willing to make your stay enjoyable. The snorkeling is great. The bay provides a wide range of dishes next to your cabanas and the beach. Don't hesitate to try this hotel. You will not regret it.

Great hotel, fabulous staff, beautiful setting! Hotel seemed very concerned about taking care of the environment with reusable containers. All staff helpful, friendly and going the extra step to make your stay enjoyable and relaxing. All villas in beautiful settings--either by the beach or 200 steps up--beautiful and everything you need is there.

Pure Heaven!
We went away hoping to relax, reconnect without the kids and have fun with our two best friends who joined us-I can say with 100% certainty that we achieved this. Our arrival welcome was well executed with a team of staff to greet us as well as our Guest Experience Maker, Mr Near. Our villa was amazing (well worth the 200 steps up the hill). It was such a private villa with an amazing view back over the bay towards Nha Trang and the mountains. Felt like we were in our our treetop house as couldn't see another roof or guest villa from any angle. We did have an issue with our dinner at Dining By the Rocks. We spoke to Cristian about it briefly at breakfast the morning. He, the F&B Manager Clement and the GM, Mr Ateeb all went above and beyond to make up for this event. Nothing disappointed us for the remainder of the trip and I only mentioned it here as it was just so perfectly handled by the staff that I wanted to say thanks. All the meals were amazing, the chefs were kind and helpful when interacting with the guests and the F&B staff attentive and friendly. We particularly wanted to mention Mr Tuuan the Chef De Cuisine who conducted our cooking class and always smiled and chatted to us when he saw us. Ms New and Ms Hua and Ms Yeng need special mention. Mr Bing was great. Honourable mention goes to Mr Near for amazing service and lots of smiles and laughs alone the way. We will be back.

The Perfect Compliment to HCMC
After two energised and hectic nights in Ho Chi Minh we spent four nights at the Six Senses Ninh Van. The transfer was exceptionally well organised and the Hill Top Villa exceeded my expectations. The property is nestled in a wide bay set apart from any other activity and so each villa has its on micro environment creating an atmosphere of solitude in Paradise. However you remain connected to the body of your hotel by a personal assistant a GEM. Mr Minh was charm personified, provided the right balance between interest and intrusion and ensured we made the most of our stay. In order to physically connect to the rest of the property we could call an electric tram, cycle or walk - ideal.

Fantaftic luxury
If you're looking for luxurious getaway, this is a fantastic place. Two thumbs up in general, and lots of fantastic things to say, but would point out couple of things that could be better. - Bad bad island hopping experience. Went to a place nearby Vinpearl that was full of tourists, and dumped us in 5m deep water 20m away from actual reef. Beach in front of our villa had nicer reef to snorkel - Food wasn't the greateat part of the experience. Bit pricy for slow sevice and 4 star quality. Nothing wrong and pretty good food, but not up to the fame of six star resort But the place was VERY spacious and not crowded at all.

Hike to Sleep
The hotel is beautiful on a secluded island. The room had a breathtaking view. However the biggest problem was getting to the room in which you had to take an exhausting hike. Im not exaggerating. every time you want to leave your room be ready to take a hike.

A Truly Hidden Gem
It was an anniversary trip, and we were truly taken back by what was one of the most wonderful trips of our time together. We have been to a number of places, including Lake Como, Bali, Phuket and Amalfi, and yet we were truly wowed away. Service was attentive, top notch, if maybe just a tad too attentive sometimes, when you just want to be left alone. But smiles all around. Everyone seemed happy to be working there, and that made you feel happy to be there. The view was truly amazing. We didn't have particularly high expectation, but it was TRULY AMAZING. I think the best way to describe it would be a cross between Maldives and Lake Como. There was clear water, fairly healthy corals, mountains in the background, across the bay. Water Villas are the best for the privacy and view, but it's a bit of a hike from everything else. Water Villa 3 and 5 are the best villas from the lot.

Beautiful location. Spacious villas. Plunge pool was cold in February as was the sea. We were in villa 36, the furthest from the dining room with no afternoon sun. Choose a lower numbered villa if you want a better location. We had to be picked up by golf buggy to get to the main restaurant and hotel pool as my husband had recently had a minor op so everywhere was too far for him to walk.

We stayed at Six Senses Ninh Van Bay for three nights during our honeymoon travelling Vietnam. We booked it as our 'luxury' part of the honeymoon and it certainly did not disappoint. We booked into one of the Hill Top Villas, which was simply sensational accommodation. The privacy and views were without parallel - the villa was huge both outside and inside with its own pool. What really sets this place apart is the staff. They will go out of their way to make sure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. All staff apart from the managers, however. We came across the resort manager a few times whose job, it seemed, was to shmooze the guests. We had three separate conversations with him, each time repeating exactly the same thing (where had we been, where are we going, did we like the 'concept'). The insincerity and impersonal nature of these conversations was really off putting. He also glossed over our glowing praise of the staff on our departure, referring to them as 'resources' who got 'excellent training', seemingly praising only himself for their excellence. The only other off putting part of the stay was the cost of various things. The 'experiences', in my opinion, were fairly priced. The drink, however, was not. I would suggest bringing your own from the mainland. I would recommend staying here for a few days - it was a truly spectacular setting. However, be aware you will probably spend a lot on food, drink, etc whilst you are there.

Resort run down
There was a lot of refurbishment underway at the time of our stay which was very disappointing. Although the manager did lay on a fabulous Vietnamese BBQ in the privacy of our Villa by way of compensation for the other depleted facilities. Our Villa was a haven and the whole resort is quite isolated even in its own layout. They themselves suggest a certain level of fitness to be able to climb the steps and paths to the outlying villas such as ours. Bicycles (badly maintaned) are also provided to get around the resort. Good breakfast buffet worth the excursion from our villa but the food and menu in general was not that exciting. Only stay a few nights.

An oasis! Expensive but worth every penny!
This hotel was an oasis! A piece of paradise! I can not praise this resort more! It was pricey, but worth every penny. Be prepared to spend: the private beach dinner or dinner on the rocks were experiences not to be missed but are costly. The cost of our villa was equal to the cost of staying on the island (i.e. food and activities) but it was a once in a lifetime experience that we do not regret. Also, if you book this place, plan to stay on the island instead of exploring the city Nha Trang. The cost of going to the mainland was not worth it for us, especially since it was so spectacular on the island.

Fabulous resort
This is a fantastic resort. The water is clean and the bay it is in, is beautiful. The resort is undergoing some relandscapingand this needs to be done as some parts are tired and in need of rejuvenating. I loved the environmental policy and the fact that the resort simply disappears into it's bush and rock surroundings. Barney Rubble eat your heart out! The food is great but overpriced especially the buffet at approx $75US per head You are a little stranded on the peninsular so 5 days max- I would recommend Nha Trang was not worth a visit but I recommend the moon island snorkeling trip but ask for the resort to pack a lunch rather than eat at some other cafe which is not part of the resort- too risky The staff were great as were the management Well done on 5 star luxury I would definitely recommend the resort for 5 nights of relaxation.

Probably better for a shorter stay – 3-4 days. The accommodation is beautiful (better than it looks in photographs) and the location is stunning, with a lovely beach and reef, but as it's hard to get anywhere else, you are stuck in the bay, and run out of things to do after a while. Food and drink is extremely expensive, and there are only a few different places to eat.

Excelent but is not real Vietnam
The hotel and location was amazing. Service was perfect and food and beverage was exeptional. I have to say that I recomend this place, but is important to let you know that prices are extremedly high compare to national prices. Hotels of course are more expensives than other places, but Six Sences is much more expensive. Beaches in Vietnam are not nice, but this place has a tranquility and a perfect beach. Be aware of staing in Hill Top Villas, Spa Villas and Water Villas. They are far away and a few steps form the beach, most of the tmes up in the mountain. We stayed at a Beach Pool Villa and it was the best decision, 2 meters from the ocean. If you are willing to have private dinning at your villa book in advance. We recomend the private BBQ at the beach. Also the honey moon trip.

Very disppointing
I was disappointed by the level of service and poor communication that we received, which was tragic for the amount of money we spent there on our honeymoon. We were assured that we could choose between 2 rooms however upon arrival we had only one option. Our butler was not forthcoming with many of the amenities the resort had to offer, and we had to request from him multiple times to receive things we requested...tough ones, like water. We really had wanted to try the many restaurants on site, however, we were told that everything was booked repeatedly except for one location which meant eating pretty much the same thing every night. The food was tasty, and identical, for our entire stay. We were also mislead that certain activities were canceled, but then when we went to investigate, they were actually happening. In addition, for a romantic escape there was little privacy in our actual bungalow area, as the staff would come walking in at any point unannounced throughout the day. A doorbell, a phone call, or a do not disturb sign would have been helpful. All in all I would not recommend, and I would only feel better about the situation if a discount were offered.
