Welcoming and friendly staff. Accommodating when we arrived early. The room was comfortable and very clean. The extras in the room such as coffee maker and fridge with water and juice was a nice touch. Convenience for shopping and restaurants.

The touched in the room (bistro table and setting) was lovely. Loved that they include milk in the refrigerator for coffee and that coffee is a named brand too

The owner and management staff were excellent. We just wished we had known that this property was right next door to a bar. And I mean right next door. Sleeping at night was very challenging. We should have expected something was up when we saw ear plugs on the night stand. We would not stay here again although management handled this appropriately.

The property was close to the stores and was Walkable to restaurants. The room was nice and the free breakfast was really good a fresh hot pastry. The bed was comfortable but the water pressure was poor. We may stay again mainly due to the location.

Lovely, quaint inn with exceptional restaurant, easy walking distance to shopping and historical places. Highly recommend for a true Newport B&B experience.

The hotel was clean and so convenient to downtown. The noise was not an issue for our family but I could see how it easily could be for other guest. The fresh morning pastries were a wonderful touch.

Wonderful service
The inn was cute and cozy. The location was within walking distance to so many cute shops and restaurants. But what topped everything off for us was the wonderful service provided by Carmen. We arrived late so she stayed late to make sure we made it there okay. She was on the phone with us as we arrived to guide us to the parking area and help us get settled in, even though she could have just given us instructions via text or email. We appreciated that so much. We will definitely stay here again, when we visit the area again.

Great location, warm pastries and parfaits delivered every morning to your door. We parked and never moved our car. Being older it would be good to bring a small power strip so you can plug in all your techie stuff.

Great stay!
Such a great place to stay! Last minute trip to Newport and we were lucky to get one of the last rooms. Very clean, very comfortable, very friendly staff! Wish we had known about the restaurant on site, absolutely cannot get in without a reservation and they sell out.

We met one staff member and she was extremely helpful. Our room was spacious and very clean, the bathroom although could do with some updating (but equally as clean). Only negative would be the access and very steep stairs (but appreciate that what comes with historic buildings).

Cute Inn in the middle of all the fun! Very walkable to shops and restaurants but still quiet at night. Delicious pastries delivered to your door every morning and convenience of a coffee machine in the room. Had a great stay!

My husband and I spent a perfect two-night anniversary getaway at the Bouchard Inn and we could not have been happier. Our room (#11) had its own private entrance and was nicely appointed. Parking was great. The location cannot be beat in Newport (yes, being right off of Thames St can make it a bit noisy at times, but we had no major issues). We loved the breakfast delivered to our room and were lucky enough to score a table for dinner at the restaurant one evening. It was absolutely delicious and the highlight of our stay. Thank you to all the staff and we will certainly be back in the future!

It's a cozy place not centrally located, but extremely close to the center of town. The staff was so kind and the place extremely clean with the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. I'd stay again in a heartbeat.

The staff at Bouchard Inn & Restaurant really went above and beyond to make my wife's birthday a wonderful experience. The breakfast pastries and parfait were the perfect start to the day, and the Inn is a short walk to all that Newport has to offer. The prix fix dinner was hands down one of the best meals we've ever had!

We loved this place and would definitely come back. Carmen was such a gracious host! She helped carry my bags up to the room and gave us a quick but thorough rundown of what we needed to know. The pastries and yogurt left at our door in the morning was a really nice touch and delicious way to start the morning. It was also very generous to have the mini bar free of charge. The table with wine glasses, napkins, plates and silverware also came in very handy since we had brought wine, cheese/crackers and grapes with us. My only suggestion would be the pillows but then again I’m a bit of a pillow snob. These were very large which I like but very big and bulky. Would have preferred having two of these for bolsters while watching TV and two softer down pillows for sleeping on. All in all, a fabulous one night stay and great location—wish we could have stayed longer!

Great location and loved the morning pastry
The location right on Thames Street is super convenient to so many things. We stayed in one of the buildings (room #8) behind the restaurant so we didn't have any issues with noise. Though I will say it was really easy to hear the people in the room next door but they weren't overly load so it wasn't an issue. Though I could see there is the potential of it being an issue. The breakfast pastry was really tasty each morning and the yogurt parfait that came with it was nice. Though after three days there we had enough of that combo. The staff was super friendly and gave us many helpful tips. The room was fine but showing a bit of wear and tear and there could have been a better assortment of bathroom products (just shampoo and soap). Still, for the price it was what I would expect and I would recommend it.

This is an adorable Inn. Great location. Amenities were fantastic! The staff was very nice and SO helpful. George and Marco were wonderful. We will definitely be back.
