This is a good budget hotel. The room was clean and quiet. Not far from shopping centres and restaurants.

The Newcastle Ibis is pretty run-down. Considering you can usually know what to expect with an Ibis, this was surprising and disappointing.

Great location- would recommend Ibis
Hotel full of concert goers. Ibis formula of providing all you need - comfy bed, good shower and no frills. Just good value. Breakfast was good and parking at $15 per day less than local price. A suggestion to get additional lighting (a standard lamp would do) would be desirable. Excellent location. Would stay again.

The Ibis Newcastle is a nice hotel and while not in easy walking distance of eateries , it is located near to the light rail. The breakfast at the hotel was very good. It is in close proximity to the Family Hotel , a nice pub with good meals.

We stayed here last night 8/9/2023 , the service was good , the breakfast was lovely . However , the mattress we slept on was just full of stains , very very dirty and just unhygienic - did tell one of the guys we thought were staff , he staged his mother worked there as a cleaner and he would pass on the message - he didn’t seem the slightest bit interested in what we had to say , looked very untidy as well - not a good look . That part was very disappointing , we do have photos to prove this .
