Relaxing by the ocean
Lovely couple of days by the ocean. The house is spacious and well equipped. I would say it is due for an update of styling and some little bits of maintenance. The bbq is needing a degrease and benches and walls a good clean. The location is stunning.

House and location a winning package.
The house has everything you need, well stocked, great kitchen appliances, comfy beds. Lots of storage for boards and bikes. And the location is amazing. We had breakfast on the front deck watching the surfers and the morning walkers. Sleeping to the sounds of the waves. And so close to various activities, restaurants, and cafes. We also found the owner, Amanda, amazing to communicate with and arrange our stay. We're very happy with our time at the Beach House👌

Prime position
We (two families) has a wonderful two night stay at The Beach House. The location was perfect with an easy walk to the ocean baths and yummy dinner venue. Whilst the weather was not in our favour, we all thoroughly enjoyed the use of the spa and relaxing in the lounge room with a gorgeous view of the ocean. The kitchen was well equipped and there was enough room for the 9 of us to relax without feeling on top of each other. Beds were comfortable and we were all grateful for the inclusion of beach towels. Highly recommend.

Great location
Merewhether Beach House is set up well for a great stay at a great location. The house has a beaut lounge and kitchen with views to the ocean. The master bedroom is very special and the spa was a highlight.

Great location but for the price, it needs more.
I was there for my wedding with my bridal party the first night then my husband the second night. I booked for 6 adults, we got 4 towels only. The place also says you cannot use white towels when removing makeup but gave us only two makeup towels, again for 6 women. The sprinklers came on not long before we needed to leave for the wedding and I had to request they be switched off to avoid getting soaked! I had read so many reviews at the owners being really strict on noise so we went into the stay very anxious as a group of girls just can be noisy from speaking and laughing despite being very respectful of the no patty rule! There were SO many rules and we found that odd because when paying $1500+ per night, you would hope it’s a relaxing stay!! There was no personalisation, no note or champagne when they knew it was for a wedding and we spent just under $4000 for 2 nights, something small goes a long way. The actual place is stunning, very modern and luxe and of course 10/10 views!

Bliss at the Beach House
This is a great venue for anyone who’s visiting Newcastle and especially Merewether to stay. Looking out to the Merewether surf makes any meal or moment of relaxation the more enjoyable. Easy parking, great inclusions, wonderful host all make for marvellous Merewether moments. CH. December 22.
