Great location for dining snd secure parking.Room was a bit dark and the air-conditioning made some very strange noises,had to turn it off to sleep at night.Cockroaches in bathroom off putting

Location, Location, Location! Excellent. Service friendly and helpful- a big thank you to reception and room servicing. Although the unit was quietly private and cosy much of the time the internal door between units is a weakness for privacy; sound transmission emanating through the door from the neighbouring unit proved to be highly intrusive at times. Two wall sconce lights were not working and were waiting for replacement: on the stairs and in the living area. All wall sconce lights are dim and as the only lighting available, the lighting in the living area and particularly over the desk is poor. Lighting elsewhere is good. The shower screen is incorrectly installed on the outer edge of the step into the shower. Water pools behind the screen then slowly dips and forms a puddle on the bathroom floor. Leave a bathmat there for hours after showering to avoid wet bed socks.

Great location
Crown on Darby is a fab location. Easy walking to just about everything, restaurants, cafes, entertainment and the waterfront. We were overwhelmed with the size of the living area. The balcony off the bedroom is a waste of space, the space could have been utilised better for a wardrobe or a bigger bathroom. The bathroom is small and the water from the shower leaks out between the shower screen and bath. The safety to get into the shower is a little daunting. The mattress was a little soft for us and the pillows too high and firm. Cleanliness was faultless, a few light globes not working, no safe for valuables, no luggage stand/rack for suitcase. Previous places we've stayed for this price had all of these things plus own laundry. Constructive feedback for our personal stay.

This used to be great place to stay, but I will no longer be going back. Rooms are in need urgent state of repair, and the air conditioner filters have never been cleaned for such a long time. As a result I could not turn on the air or open the windows as the windows has no fly screens. Upon arrival, windows were all opened and I found spider webs around the windows in the main room with 2 white tail spiders. Bed had stains all over the pillows. No reception after 1pm so I could not say anything. I felt somewhat ripped off and quite disappointed. During the early hours of the morning, the noise of thugs breaking bottles on the street outside was very off putting, I’ll never be going back. Quite sad really.

Overall, a reasonable stay in a well positioned hotel. The lounge area was very big and comfortable in the two bedroom unit. The kitchen provided the necessaries. The design of the shower over the bathtub was awkward. You had to reach under the shower rose to adjust the temperature so cold water pours onto your back while you're trying to adjust it. The king bed was comfortable. In my opinion, $25 per night is fairly excessive for parking. Staff at reception were very polite and pleasant.
