This hotel is in a great location. It’s just off the beaten path to be quite enough but yet still so close to everything. You are nestled into a neighborhood with locals but have so much around you. The food choices within a couple of blocks are absolutely amazing. While you’re still close to Times Square you are still far enough away if you don’t want to be bothered with the hustle and bustle. Public transportation is very close and taxis and Ubers are close. The staff is amazing, they are so friendly but don’t push themselves in you. They smile and say hi all the time but don’t constantly expect anything from you. The building is older but super clean. Our room wasn’t big but for two people there was plenty of room. There is a small kitchenette with a sink, countertop and mini fridge underneath. There is limited wall outlets(120 volts ac) to use, but the alarm clock has usb A ports and a usb C port in it. On the desk there is a hub with usb A & usb C ports to charge phones, tablets, etc…. While not fast charging you still are able to charge devices. Only thing I can really complain about if the TV volume only goes to 25, while I understand why at times it can be difficult to hear whatever programming you’re watching. But let’s be honest the majority of the time you won’t be watching tv in NYC. Overall this was a great experience, with a great location that is well ran and taken care of very well.
