Lamentablemente cuando llegué hacer el check-in, nunca nos dieron la habitación que había reservado, sino más bien nos enviaron a otro hotel del cual no nos atendieron sino más bien nos dijeron que regresemos al mismo hotel, en otras palabras nunca nos dieron la habitación que había reservado. Very convenient to everything we wanted to do, literally across the street from moynihan train station, MSG, etc. Staff was excellent, breakfast was great room was clean. We definitely will come back

Pros: Directly across the street from Penn Station, one block from MSG, and has a subway station within feet of the hotel. There was always a canister of fruit infused water greeting us when we returned from our days outing. The breakfast was more than sufficient. The front desk staff tried hard to be helpful Cons: One elevator was down, which translated to long waits at the elevator- up to 15 minutes as we were on the top floor. I found this on expedia to be an 'excellent' hotel, when we walked in the carpets to the foyer were filthy (both in stains and looked like it needed to be vaccumed badly),the room has a 'governor' on the AC which would not allow it to go below 68. Overall, I would stay here for the convienence but I would not have set my expectations as high.

The staff was friendly , the breakfast was very good and included in the price. Very clean and near a lot of restaurants. Location was amazing. I picked a room w the city view and the view was amazing. We loved it and would recommend.

Good location but everything else needs to improve. They had a damaged elevator, so we had to wait a long time for the other one, the beds are not queen size, they are full size and for a family of 4 they only gave us 3 towels. There was no complementary water in the room. The roof top was closed and they had no option to eat. The customer service was terrible because I reported that the air was broken in the room and they did not want to change me to another one.

Hello. I am very upset about my stay at the Fairfield Marriott in New York on 33rd this past week. My young children were woken up at 1:30 a.m. due to a burst pipe, flooding of the floor in our room, firemen banging on pipes and ripping down walls, elevator beeping, fire alarm sounds and it was all around unpleasant. To make it worse, not one staff member said anything, or addressed our concerns on if we should stay or leave, if it was serious or not. I checked out the next morning and no one said anything! This was a sad situation that put a mediocre hotel stay over the top. I am a Marriott member and choose Marriott over and over again, but this was just awful. The elevator wasn't working prior to this event and the continental breakfast was overly crowded. Again, I might not be so upset if these problems were addressed. The staff didn't say anything! I do think a fee return is appropriate for that Tuesday night stay that kept us up all night.

The staff was courteous, attentive, and available when needed. All questions were answered in a respectful manner and overall I was pleased. One note, there was bacon for only one day of my stay, the other times it wasn’t available and I feel it should be a mainstay of a breakfast meal.

Issues with elevators during check out was inconvenient. I was on the 19th floor and have 3 herniated discs. 20 minutes is too long. The biggest issue is one stopped working Friday night and was not fixed in the am.

Our stay at Fairfield Inn was excellent, The staff were friendly and helpful. The room whilst small suited us as we only used it to sleep, it was clean, beds comfortable. Within walking distance of most things, Times Square, Penn Station, Empire State Building. Laundry facilities were great. Breakfast was great, lots of options. This property suited us for a base to explore New York

We are regular visitors to NYC and usually take a train into Manhattan. This Fairfield Inn is the closest hotel to the station we've ever stayed, and that works for us. As it happens we were in for an event at Madison Square Garden, so again, just across the street. The hotel itself is a pleasure. Our room was comfortably large, with good bed and shower. Common areas were clean and welcoming, including a rooftop space that was cold, but offered a beautiful view of the skyline. A very generous breakfast was offered. We will return.

We arrived early and were unable to check in right away, but staff was extremely kind and the hotel was able to stow our bags for us while we went out in the city. When we did check in they brought our bags directly up to our room for us. Breakfast was fantastic, many options and the dining area was clean.

The beds are very nice ! You can sleep for hours. Good location too. The only improvement opportunity about this hotel is the attitude of the bell boys.
