The mandatory $29 per night "resort fee" was fine print i wish i had noticed at the time of reservation. Absurd to force their restaurant and third-party gym on people.

I think there are better stays.
It was ok, the restaurant/cafe has amazing coffee but service is limited and takes a long time to get food.

Honest review
Room not worth the price. No coffee maker in room. Bad coffee in coffee shop. Bad food in Coffey shop too. Resort fee imposed for a non resort hotel.

Hotel was clean & comfortable. Staff was all amazing. Front desk was very helpful, bartenders were fun and efficient, even housekeeping when they saw us in the hallway went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Actually, the front desk they’re very helpful they let me check in very early. I had something a treatment done that day. I was tired so let me check in at 11 in the morning so I can lay down and get some rest and then in the middle night I got up I was in the bathroom And I thought I was saying things I seen a cockroach crawling on the path floor and I took the towel and hit it and killed it and left the towel underneath the sink when I checked out, I mentioned it to the front desk

Distrikt by Hilton.
Hotel was priced correctly for the location/amenities/service. The room was clean and comfortable. No view of city to speak of from certain rooms (didn’t spend much Five rooms per floor. We were on the top floor. Water pressure was excellent but hot. Hallway was very warm but a/c unit in room was quiet. No upgrade available when booking through third-party even though a member of hotel club. Floor Security up to room levels was used during evening hours.

This is the most uncomfortable hotel I ever stayed at. The pillows were like rocks and the AC units didn't work. The water pressure was terrible and we weren't even that many floors up. It was such a bad stay that I may talk to my credit card company and refute the charge because I don't feel like we got the product we were promised. Avoid like the plague.

The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms are good. The property in itself is good if you want to stay near Times Square or port authority for a one night stop… BUT if you can choose another sector to stay in, i would strongly advise you NOT to stay near Times Square especially with kids… very dirty, very busy zone…

From the moment you enter the building you feel the AC not working, the AC in our room was not working properly, the covers were dirty and ripped. For the price you would think it will be better. Did not bothered to complain since I was staying one night and had a lot of luggage . Not to mention there was only one elevator working. Only good thing from there was the staff they greeted us, were really kind and always with smile . Will not go back there

Great convenient location walkable to public transportation (Penn Station and Port Authority Bus Terminal) and tons of restaurants. Also easy to catch Uber a short walk away. Not too noisy even on a weekend night. Cafe downstairs is a plus, especially with the included credit, and serves delicious Chai lattes!
