The service was really nice and security here made you feel safe. The rooms were smaller than I hoped for- we stayed here for the first few days of our trip and then went to movenpick for the last few days. Their rooms were bigger and spacious but the service was better here - it was still good but I felt at sankara they were just always ready to go above and beyond.

Beautiful clean property with very kind and attentive staff. Nice rooms with comfy beds and rooftop restaurant has excellent food. The mall with a Carrefour is a 5-minute walk from the hotel. Our drivers employed by the hotel are excellent, informative and friendly. Will absolutely stay here again!

The service was wonderful, the management is very very profession and I highly commend Ms JOAN WAVALA, the guest Services Manager for her management style and everything she did for us to enjoy our stay at he Sankara. This was our third stay in Sankara within 1 year and we hope to come back again in July 2023.
The only draw back is that the hotel has no SPA/Massage Parlor which a hotel of Sankara's Caliber should have. Second note is that refrigerators should be available in every room.
My stay at the Sankara Nairobi was excellent. The accommodatand, the staff/service was quite nice, beyond expectations and an oasis even among many European and US hotels where I have stayed. Our stay at the property was a respit from our business activities throughout Nairobi. Thank you for the genuinely pleasurable experience.

Definitely the best hotel in Nairobi, I would highly recommend it, our room was pristine, the steak restaurant was fantastic and breakfast buffet was delicious. For sure we will come back and it is ideally located as well.

This hotel needs a lot of improvement from service to the property
Hostile feeling when staff make you feel unwelcome.. chef/waiters don’t know their own menu 🙇♀️
I stayed in Marriot hotel and this has no Marriot standards neither 3/4/5 star standards
It’s in great location in Westland though
Solomon is always best host (he’s gem )

I really was looking forward on the stay to sankara ..!
Upon arrival I received not welcoming I stood by receipt for long time while receptionist (Lidya ) was on personal ..
Solomon walked in and served us from drying standing up 😊 Solomon made our whole stay very comfortable .. he was very helpful and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable (he deserve raise and upgrade )
Everyday morning On our stay we had to sign after breakfast (they said was just protocol ) coming to end of our stay we were checking out and paying our bills to find out we were billed for things that we weren’t supposed too bill was 700$ something we end up paying 300$ something
Breakfast on room which was breakfast included
We had 2 rooms both room upon arrival was breakfast included .. we had to argue about the bill for like 1hr they then removed one room breakfast but we still have to pay for one other room (we were breakfast included package ) at end we decided to pay and leave JUST PAY ATTENTION TO BILLS
also there is security check diversity there are people go through security check and there some people who don’t (colorism’s Was felt )
As hotel that is under Marriot has no Marriot standard ..

Great hotel! Rooms are clean, spacious and well furnished. They’re also well proofed and insulated, virtually no outside or street noise can be heard. The staff go above and beyond in making your stay as comfortable as possible. I asked the front desk to hold my bags between check out and a late night flight and instead, they offered me a later than usual check out! Solomon is a great concierge and a great help in anything inside and outside the hotel.
I decided to skip room service and dine at the rooftop restaurant like I’d done before on a previous (non-stay) visit. Big mistake! It was Latin night so the rooftop was popping. But service was ridiculously slow. Drinks came 25 minutes after ordering. Dinner took over an hour! The 3 wait staff (that I could see) did their best but were seriously overwhelmed by the crowd. I contemplated just up and walking away for room service instead.
Breakfast the next morning was meh.
Overall I’d stay here again.

Hotel is beautiful great customer service however, pls be advice that some of the amenities are closed in light of covid. on the good side hotel is empty and very clean. Also pool has no heater therefore super cooled

Staff assistance with some issues we had was outstanding. Our flight didlnt leave until 11:30 on our departure day and because my wife was ill, they comped our room until 8:00pm that night. I couldn't believe it. Very nice service.
Visiting in Nairobi is another story. Way too crowded with constant chaos and horrendous traffic.
