Fantastic stay at Mercure hotel. Staff all around the hotel from check in to cleaning and kitchen were very helpful, friendly and professional. The breakfast was excellent and extra services were so handy like the free coffee and and free room mini bar which was replenished daily. Also ideal location being close to popular attractions. Would definitely stay again next time in in Munich

The hotel is excellent value for money, and conveniently situated for visiting Munich and the surrounding area due to it's position near the main railway station. The only negative is the street can be noisy at night if you have the windows open.

Only stayed 2 nights here. Took the train from airport; very close to hotel. The train stop was 1 stop before the Marianplatz. Our room was huge with bathroom separated from bedroom. Did not have breakfast buffet; kind of expensive. Walkable to main square about 15 min .The restaurant looked nice in the hotel but did not use it.

The moment we arrived, we were treated with kindness. This hotel is very comfortable. Nice restaurant and bar on the main floor, multilingual staff, unlimited free coffee and the breakfast offers quite a large selection. Dinner is a little more expensive but the food is presented similar to a high-end restaurant. We traveled as a family. They had an additional bed prepared for us ahead of our check-in. We arrived much earlier than check-in, but they held our luggage for us. The internet was quite weak for our Apple devices; MacBook & iPhones. Once I made the staff aware, they immediately started to work the problem and went above & beyond to fix the issue. The technician said it could be an “Apple” issue but I don’t quite agree. Regardless, the WiFi seemed stronger in the lobby & restaurant if you need to work. Overall, this is a 5-star hotel in my opinion. The kindness and friendliness of the staff was incredible. Location is amazing (5-minute walk to our day-trip bus meeting point for Schloss Neuschwanstein, 15-minute walk to Marienplatz, multiple restaurants nearby). I would certainly stay here again! Thank you to the staff!

I booked a Premium room suitable for 4 on Hotels.com. We stay in with 2 adult and a kid. Received a room that is totally not expected as on booking it states having a Queen size bed with a double sofa. The “double sofa” is only slightly bigger as compare to you single sofa but condition is unacceptable with only a single bedsheet provided.

Our rooms were very clean and comfortable. The lobby and breakfast area were very nice, and we enjoyed the breakfast so much! The hotel was very walkable to the Marienplatz area and also to the train station, which worked very well for us. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything was great the only mild things we ran into was when we arrived they gave my brother and I a room with 1 queen bed when we upgraded to 1 bed and a pull out sofa. This was rectified with two twin beds. Other thing was the neighborhood can be a little sketchy at night, so don’t go out alone. Otherwise everything else was great

The staff was very accommodating from communication prior to our arrival, to stowing our luggage before and after our check in, to bringing an extra bed for our son who could unexpectedly join us, to the fantastic breakfast, to the lovely courtyard, to the decor. Stayed at this property for Oktoberfest. Perfect location! Walkable to the fair grounds, Marienplatz and central train station just around the corner. Visited the restaurant for dinner twice. Great service and food! And complimentary mini bar in the room! Definitely recommend this Mercure property!

Hotel is walkable from the central station (10 min). Area around the hotel doesn't look the best but is safe. Bedroom and bathroom were clean however shower door was leaking heavily and had to use towels to mop it up. Had called the front desk and was told a repairman would come in the morning but never did. Wasn't too concerned so we stayed only two nights. Wonderful breakfast buffet included with the stay. Appreciated the free minibar in the bedroom.

The hotel is in a great location, very central. Facilities were good. The staff were not at all friendly. We asked for two things during our stay - our tv remote wasn’t working and we wanted to borrow an iron. Even though a request was placed, neither request was answered. Disappointing.
