The motel was clean and in a convenient location was greeted warmly on arrival and enjoyed our stay the only negative things i can say is the room was located down 2 steep hills wich we found a little inconvenient specially after a few drinks !! Also the pool area lacked a little loving and was also down another steep hill but these are only minor things, the motel was excellent value for money and as i said great location so if your ever in Montville do not hesitate to stay here.

Stayed 2 nights for a wedding. Room was clean, bed was comfy and the room had everything we needed. Property is a little tired, as many in the area are, but for position and price, you can’t go wrong here.

We had coffee and tea in the morning, we didnt check the milk because we didnt think they would put expired milk in the fridge. THEY DID. THE MILK EXPIRED DEC, 2022.

The location of the property in the main street of Montville was excellent. The room had new carpet and was a reasonable size. The bathroom had a new toilet however the apricot tiles, sink, brown switches and power points were outdated. Satisfactory accommodation for the price.

I have to say the bed was comfortable and overall the unit was clean. The problems were obvious as soon as we got there. There are two very steep driveways that need to be negotiated and as it was raining they had to be handled with care and traversing while cars were coming up and down them. There was no phone in the unit to call reception and we were later these had been pulled out so we had to use our mobiles to make contact. Wifi was only available for about two minutes at a time before it dropped out. The most disappointing element of our stay was there was no hot water so cold showers were necessary. When we raised this with a lady cleaning the rooms she informed us that the hot water service was broken. Why would we be given a room when it is known the hot water service was not working?

A good motel in the main part of Montville. Supplied plates, bowls, glasses, cutley and a microwave. The manager was friendly and helpful. Short walk to cafes, views, restaurants etc.
