Hi Alison, we are glad you enjoyed the facilities! We apologize for the miscommunication that took place. However on top of doing our best to help ensure our guests enjoy their stay, upholding legal safety regulations is our top priority (sometimes at the expense of convenience).For safety reasons imposed by the fire marshal, we must have ALL guests on the premises registered regardless of whether they are day-visitors or overnight guests. In the event of an emergency it falls upon the hotel to account for its number of guests—that is why a notice is posted on each rooms’ wifi-sheet and front desk (including any fees). We try our best to give leeway where possible, but when it comes to safety regulations we cannot.Security showed an unregistered guest going in/out of the room for the duration of your stay and with luggage during check in/out when only 2 guests were registered in the room the entire stay. When you informed our staff that this visitor was picking you up, we made an exception. However when a third guest stayed overnight again, they were not registered by any means despite being verbally informed of the policy. Had we been aware of the specific circumstance mentioned, we would have been happy to waive the fee—however this is the first we are learning of it. Please feel free to contact us so we may issue a refund for that circumstance.
